Milena kept her grip tight on Thor as they soared through the sky with the help of Thor's hammer.

"There!" Milena shouted as they got into the city, she was pointing at the Stark tower where the portal opened above. The Chitauri where flying out of the portal and were shooting at the people in the streets.

They dropped onto the balcony below Loki. "I'm going to go down and help the people below." Milena said, Thor nodded and turned to Loki.

Milena ran into the tower and towards the elevator doors. She jumped at the sound of Tony's AI speaking "good day Miss Jung"

"Yeah, hi Jarvis, just take me to the ground floor as fast as possible." She said

"Certainly."

Milena gripped the bars in the elevator and watched outside as it went down "right, you can do this Milena, it's just aliens, an alien army, this is just another mission, like Budapest, yeah like what happened in Budapest."

She stopped her pep talk as the elevator doors opened, she took a deep breath and ran out side.

All that Milena saw was chaos. Turned over cars, buildings on fire, and the Chitauri troops flying all over the city. She heard a screech and looked up to see a Chitauri soldier flying towards a family huddled against a car.

Milena ran as fast as her legs would allow, and using the gun that managed to stay in its holster during the fall, she shot at the alien in the head effectively making it crumple to the ground.

"Thank you" the mother cried holding her son close to her.

Milena smiled, and looked around to see where the family should hide, luckily grand central station was right in front of the tower. Milena pointed at the building.

"Let's go inside there, you should be safe in the subway."

The family ran towards the station with Milena, when a large shadow covered them. They froze and looked up in fear at the enormous alien that flew out of the portal.

"Go" Milena said frantically "hurry! keep running!"

"Go down to the tunnels it's unlikely that they'll be there." Milena said as they got inside the building, there were people running in a panic inside the building to get out of the line of fire.

The family thanked her again and Milena ran towards the entrance. She took a deep breath and ran out into the city.

She was immediately greeted by Chitauri ready to attack. She drew her gun began shooting at the creatures. In the distance Milena could see Clint and Nat, she let out a breath of relief at the fact that the others were in New York too.

Milena ran towards the pair. A soldier jumped down in front of her and using her powers she put strength into her fists and sent it flying with a punch.
