We all just stared at him, shock written on our faces. We were in another land? No, that's not possible. The only worlds that exists is Earth and those other boring planets in our solar system. And who names a world Askaria? It sounds like some name from The Lord of the Rings.

"You can all call me the Head Master and yes, I know all of your names so you don't need to introduce yourselves. Now, if you'll follow me, I will show you something that will answer all your questions." He said, walking away.

Riel and I just stared at each other. I could tell she was just as flabbergasted as I was. Cindney looked like she was going to have a heart attack or something since her tan skin had paled. Bella was the only one that did anything. She walked after "you-can-all-call-me-the-Head-Master" dude. We all just watched her as she left, silence filling the room with her every step.

Riel, then, looked at me. Determination all over her face. The next thing I know, she runs out of the room after Bella. Well, if Riel thinks it's okay, then I better follow her. I ran out of the room after them, leaving Cindney by herself. Passing tapestries and windows, I caught up to them halfway down the hall. And a few seconds later, Cindney was by my side, still looking shakened.

We walked in a line, Riel on my left, Bella next to Riel, and Cindney to my right. The Head Master didn't speak, he just walked, leading us down hallways and through rooms. I barely paid any attention to our surroundings, as I knew what we were in. A castle. As stupid and bewildering as that is, it seemed to be the only logical explanation. But the others couldn't get it enough, looking around whenever we entired a new hallway or room.

As we walked, I noticed that we all had something on our right wirsts: on Riel was the seashell, that she showed me earlier, on Cindney was a star, and on Bella was a snowflake.

I have no idea what this means but it gave us all a similarity at least. Gosh, my attempts at trying to make this situation sane was pathetic. Everything I've ever learned always was about the outcome being logical or correct. Math has problems you have to solve CORRECTLY, English deals with the CORRECT way of grammer, even science has procedures that if not done CORRECTLY something will go wrong. But here...here, there doesn't seem to be a correct way in which things work. I mean, I fell through a "Portal"...I have a weird tattoo that I don't know how I got...this man claims we're in a different land that doesn't exist on Earth... Nothing makes sense!

After finally walking for what felt like forever, we stopped at another grand set of doors. The doors were definitely made of wood but delicately embroidered with designs of flowers, clouds, hills, animals of all kinds, and castles. Whoever made it sure did put a lot of time into it, that's for sure.

The Head Master dude turned around to face us, smiling creepily. If this was a horror movie, he'd be the axe-murderer that's for sure.

"Behind these doors is the answer you seek." He said. Cindney crossed her arms, she obviously didn't believe this guy.

"Well...aren't you going to let us through?" She asked, her question full of sass.

The Head Master started laughing. We all looked at each other confused at his random outbursts of laughter. He laughed as he said, "Oh you girls are so funny!"

He laughed for another 5 minutes while we just stared at him, waiting for him to stop. Riel was the one to speak up first. "Hey! Mr. Head Master! We get it! We're funny! Now will you please show us what you said would answer our questions."

"Oh! why didn't you say so?" He said, turning around to unlock the door. Riel and Cindney looked like they were going to explode.

"Now, I warn you, what you will see might not be what you expect." He said as he opened the door. We all looked in, shocked.

There was nothing. There was literally nothing in the room, except four empty pedestals. My eyes widened. Oh my gosh, just someone kill me now, please...

"There's nothing here! Our answer is nothing!" Cindney exclaimed, walking over to the Head Master and looking about ready to punch him. "I mean after all that I just went through, falling through portals, getting stuck with these nerds, and having to deal with creepy you, we should have a better explanation than just an empty room!"

The Head Master chuckled. "Well, you see Cinderella, this room was once filled with four powerful jewels, but they got stolen. And that's why you are here. To get them back."

Cindney's expression softened to confusion. "Wait...did you just call me Cinderella?"

"Yes I did, my dear. That is your name after all." He said, another creepy smile getting plastered on his face.
