"So, Wendy, you still haven't answered my question." Peter said, looking behind a fallen tree. Finding nothing, he looked back at me. "Why are you in the woods? How did you get lost?"
We were still looking for TinkerBell and so far all we've spotted is some gold glittery dust on the ground. And as much as hanging out with Peter Pan is cool, he started to get on my nerves. He kept asking questions, mainly why I'm in the woods, but I'm afraid to tell him so I don't answer. So, while we walk along the creek, thinking that TinkerBell couldn't have gone far, I had to deal with him continuously asking that question. And he won't shut up! I mean, is it seriously any of his business?
"Ugh, fine. You win. I take it you don't really trust me, still." He concluded, finally.
I smiled and looked up at him from the bush I was inspecting. "Nope."
"Why not?"
"I was told to be careful who I trust, and I am. Besides, why do you even care why I'm in the woods?"
"Well, I know that you know that a storm is coming in, and if you don't have a place to stay, it's in my best interests to take you to my place."
I smirked. "In your best interests, eh? Why do you think I'd go with you, anyway? Not that I don't have a place to stay or anything, since I do." As considerate as he was, I'm not trusting him till I have a reason to.
"Hey, there's some dangerous creatures that come out at night, I don't want to leave you by yourself. And besides, you're a bad liar."
I looked at him, he was smirking at me. Darn it, he was good.
"Fine. I don't have a place to stay. But I don't have any real reason to trust you either."
He walked over to me and stood mere centimeters from me. His eyes narrowed, his lips pulled up into a smile. "I'm a really trustworthy person, you know. Or do I just scare you?"
I walked away from him, totally regretting make this deal. Truth was, he was.... alluring. In a bad way. I mean, I couldn't help but feel drawn to him and that's what I'm scared of. I really don't need to have a little crush on a boy that claims he's Peter Pan and is super hot with his green eyes and charming smile. For all I know, he could just be saying his name is Peter Pan.
"Awe, Wendy, c'mon. I was just messin' with ya." He said, running to catch up with me.
"Look, I just made this deal to get out of these woods into civilization. So let's find your stupid pixie friend and get out of here." I said, rather harshly.
"You know, if she heard you say that, she'd probably bite you."
"Hah, why? Because she can't inflict much pain if she punched me?" I started laughing, imagining a tiny pixie punching me. The image was so bizarre and cute I couldn't help myself.
Then a searing hot pain erupted from my finger. "Owe!" I gasped, looking at my hand to see a bleeding cut on my index finger and a little girl with light blue wings smiling at me. She was cute, wearing a little dress that seemed to made out of leaves with a flower crown on the top of her waist high golden hair.
"No, it's because pixie bites are poisonous." Peter said.
That was the last thing I heard before I passed out.

My eyes fluttered open. Where was I, again? I really hope Mom would come and bring me an ice pack or something since my head was killing me. Someone was leaning over me, their hand to my forehead. I hope I don't have a fever...
Then I regained my memory. Ugh, for a split second I thought I was at home in my bed, but no, I'm in Crazy Land.
Peter was in front of me, his green eyes filled with worry. He was touching my forehead, for reasons I cannot defy.
"Are you okay?" He asked. I pushed him off me, for the second time today, and stood up. He stood up with me, his pixie sitting on his shoulder. I looked over at her and narrowed my eyes. She stuck her tiny tongue out at me. Gosh, how rude!
"No, I'm not okay! She bit me!" I said, pointing at her.
Peter shrugged. "I warned you, but you thought I was joking. Besides, you did insult Tink."
Ugh. Pixie bites at poisonous, who knew? I looked around me. We weren't by the creek anymore. We were standing under a big cypress tree and I could hear the faint sound of the ocean nearby.
"Where are we?" I inquired.
"Well, when Tink knocked you out, I carried you a little ways closer to Baytown. The closest town to where I found you." He answered.
"You're saying we've been near the ocean this entire time?"
"Yep."
"How far on we from Baytown?"
"It's just a mile or so in that direction." He pointed to my right. "You should be able to get there in the hour."
I furrowed my eyebrows. "You're not coming with me?"
"I would, but Tink doesn't really like you. Oh and by the way, this is TinkerBell." He said gesturing to her on his shoulder.
"Yeah, I know her name." I said.
Now it was his turn to be confused. "How could you know her name?"
Oh right. He still doesn't know I'm from Earth and that I know who he really is. "Because you just told me." I replied, dismissively.
I looked at the sky. It was near sunset and the clouds were already covering most of the sky. I have to see if maybe I could find a place in Baytown, since Peter's offer must be invalid now thanks to my bad reputation with TinkerBell.
"Well, I guess this is good bye then." I said, looking back at him.
"Yeah, I guess. But who knows, we might run into each other in the future." He said with that quirky smile of his.
I rolled my eyes and smiled back at him. As mush as he was annoying, I'm gonna miss his questions.
"Well... good bye." I said, grimly.
"Good bye." He said.
Neither of us moved, we just stared at each other awkwardly with the wind blowing the ocean's song toward us. I guess, I wasn't the only one who didn't want to part ways so quickly.
TinkerBell was the first to do anything. She flew over to Peter's sleeve, and started to tug on it. It shook him from his daze and he looked over at her. She was obviously eager to leave me.
"I guess I should go, Wendy." He said, awkwardly.
I nodded and said, "Yeah me too, Peter."
We both simultaneously turned around and walked our separate ways. It took all my will, not to look back...
