Hiking was never my thing. I was never the athletic type, Riel was the athlete in our friendship. I got the brains and she got the brawn, I guess, you could say. So hiking in the woods was tiring.

At first, I enjoyed the sheer beauty of all the foliage around me. Back in California, you had to drive great distances to ever see a forest and my parents never bothered on taking me to them. I only knew they existed thanks to books and movies. After a while though, my legs started hurting, my throat was parched and the trees started to get annoying. I ended up drinking half my water supply in the few hours that I started.

I took out the map a couple times to see that hopefully there'll be a chance I can figure out where I am by a tree or something on the map. The map seemed pretty old to me, unless scrolled maps are usual here. Askaria was HUGE compared to the United States, it was like the entire Eurasia Continent but with a lot more forests than plains and deserts. There were a lot of islands scattered on the east and west coasts and five kingdoms that had borders. Most of the land that was not owned by kingdoms was just that, land. There were many scattered villages and towns around but most of the people seemed to live in the kingdoms. I noticed that pass Askaria's borders was another continent, called Wonderland. Heh, so maybe Riel was right.

One of the kingdoms that had the most land, was Arendelle. I, honestly, didn't expect that that place existed.

Still, the map didn't do me much good since I could be anywhere in Askaria and besides, I don't even know where to go if I did.

After a couple of hours of nonstop walking, I decided to take one break. The clouds were moving fast by the hours and I didn't want to stop for too long.

I leaned up against a tree near a creek, taking deep breaths. Boy, am I out of shape. Seeing that there the creek seemed to have clean water, I went over to drink some. I kneeled down and cupped my hands, dipping them in the water. It was cold but amazingly refreshing. I drank like four hand folds, trying to cool myself down as much as possible. I mean, it wasn't that hot, there was a slight breeze that rafted through the forest. I just knew that getting dehydrated right now wouldn't do me any good.

I looked up from drinking to see a little blue bird sitting on a branch. It was peering at me, it's head cocked.

I smirked. "What are you lookin' at?" I asked. It still stared at me, not moving it's little beady eyes away from me. I shook my head and got up. Stupid bird. At least, it's not like a killer bird that has like a secret set of razor sharp teeth.

Something then caught the birds attention as it looked away from me to the sky. I looked up after it, confused.

"WATCH OUT!" Then the next thing I know, someone lands on me, pushing me right into a tree. The first thing I register is that my head hurts, a lot. The next thing I register is the person lying on top of me.

I moan and move my arm to inspect my head. No blood, just a big, fat bruise.

"Are you okay?"

I look up to see a boy. He was about 15 or so with shaggy blonde hair and gorgeous green eyes. I widened my eyes and pushed him off me. The fact that he was on top of me really left dirty and wrong thoughts in my head.

I got up and brushed myself off, looking over at him.

"You know, when someone falls from the sky they don't really mean it. So, why do you look like I just offended you?" He said, getting up as well.

I notice that he was a ruddy green shirt with a leather belt, much like the one I have that held that scary dagger, and tan pants. He also wore boots that went to his knees.

I sighed and said, "Sorry, you just were on top of me and stuff and you freaked me out."

He smiled. "Well, my apologizes. My pixie ran out of dust halfway through our flight so I kind of had to make an emergency landing."

Gosh, his smile was amazing. I couldn't help but notice he even had a bit of freckles on his cheeks. Wait! Did he just say pixie?

"Pixie?" I asked, furrowing my eyebrows.

"Yeah, pixie. Have you never heard of them?" He asked, dubiously.

I shook my head. "I've heard of fairies, just not pixies."

"Well, they're different. Fairy dust has magical properties and pixie dust can make you fly. That's the only difference between the two."

He, then, started looking around, turning his head every which way.

"What are you looking for?" I asked, genuinely concerned.

"My pixie friend. I don't know where she went off to."

He stopped looking around and looked back at me. He smiled. "I'm sorry, I didn't catch your name."

"Can I trust you?" I asked, remembering Selena's last words.

"Do I look like a trustworthy person?"

He did and I didn't know if I should still. I mean, he could be like a pedofile or somethin. If they even have pedofiles here. I ignored my instinct and told him. "I'm Wendelyn, but you can call me Wendy."

"Peter. Peter Pan" He said, still smiling that cute smile.

Wait! He's the Peter Pan! Oh my gosh oh my gosh oh my gosh. He was even hotter in person than in the movies, that's for sure.

I couldn't help my smile. I just met Peter Pan... this is unbelievable.

"Now, why is a pretty young lady like you out here in the middle of the woods?" He asked, coming closer.

I giggled. He called me pretty!!!! EEEEE!!

"I'm kind of lost." I said, simply. Trying not to expose my excitement at the small distance he was away from me.

"Well, how 'bout we make a deal. You help me find my pixie friend and I'll take you to the nearest town."

I nodded, eagerly. I need to get out of this forest, pronto! And helping Peter Pan find, who I assume is TinkerBell, of course I'd agree. Well, now I have a companion, who's really beyond hot.

EEEE!! This day just got a whole lot better!
