It started to drizzle once we reached the forest, and eventually it started to downright pour. I put my hood on, but much to my dislike, it wasn't waterproof. Peter and I didn't stop though, he kept pulling me behind him, taking the lead. I didn't know where he was taking me, but I hoped it was someplace dry.

We kept running deeper into the woods, right next to the beach. I knew the thugs weren't following us anymore, and I bet he did too, but we kept running.

Eventually, we came to a stop at this huge cave. It sat on the sand, in the side of a cliff, and it was about as big as my house.

Peter looked at me. "Wait here, I'll be right back." He said, running through the downpour into the cave. I just did as he said, feeling extra lonely without the comfort of his hand. The wind whipped through the air, shaking me and the trees. I heard some thunder and shudder.

Then came a clinking sound. I looked up, into the cave. The next thing I know I saw Peter blowing on a fire. I ran into the cave, overjoyed at the sight of some warmth.

I sat down next to Peter and stuck my hands out. I smiled at the feeling of goosebumps erupting over my body.

We sat in silence for a few minutes, letting the fire warm us up. Thunder got louder as our silence continued. That's when it struck me.

"You tricked me." I whispered.

Peter glanced up at me from the fire, perplexed. "What?"

"You tricked me!" I exclaimed, looking at him. "Baytown wasn't a close town, I was no where near the ocean before, I couldn't even smell it, you just flew me there with that pixie dust of yours. And you sent me off into town knowing that I wouldn't find a hotel and that I'd probably get myself killed!"

He looked at me, shock written on his face. Then, he smiled. "Wow, your smarter than I expected."

I just glared at him. How could he do this to me?! "You lied to me!" I said.

He chuckled. "I didn't lie. Baytown was one of many 'close' towns and besides you wanted me to take you to the closest town not the safest town." He said, air-quoting close.

"Ugh! I can't believe you tricked me." I said, crossing my arms.

"I wasn't tricking you, I was merely testing you!" He exclaimed.

I looked over at him. "Testing me?"

"Yeah, to see if you're from around here or not. You see, everyone in all of Askaria knows that Baytown is infested with pirates. No one goes there unless they want to do some dirty business. And you just walked in there looking for a place to stay the night!" He explained. "I can't believe you messed around with Hook too, I mean, how stupid are you? When two men are fighting, you don't try and break it up."

"Hook?" I asked.

"Yeah, Captain Hook. Did you not notice that he had a hook for a left hand?"

Now that he mentions it, I didn't. I was so scared out of my mind, that I didn't notice I was talking with the one and only Captain Hook. Well, he looked a lot different in the cartoon, that's for sure.

"So, now that I got my proof, tell me. Where are you from and why were you in the woods?"

I looked at him. Tink was sitting on his shoulders still, looking at me. I bit my lip. What do I do? Trust him or not?

Defeated, I said. "Fine, you're right. I'm not from around here, at all."

"Alright!" Peter exclaimed, pumping his fist in the air. Then, he looked at me awkwardly. "Heh, sorry. For a minute there, I thought my instinct was wrong and you were from around here... but...uh...yeah...continue."
