6.AWARD SHOW

David's POV
It's my third time being at the Streamy Award this year. I hold Liza's hand and we walk to our table. She looks gorgeous. I pull out her chair so she can sit down.
"Thanks babe!" She sits down and look up at me to give me a kiss on my cheek.
I sit down with the whole squad.
"I'm still so proud of you Bubba!"
She grins. She has been saying this the whole way we got here. Did I mention both Liza and I are nominated this year?
"Can you believe we met here... exactly 3 years ago?"
"Yeah I know right. Time flies"

Flashback to 3 years ago...
David's POV
Tomorrow is the Streamy so I'll go shopping for new clothes today. I decided to ask Gabbie if she could come with me.
Gabbie... she is my close friend. Not like a girl friend though. She's also in the Vlog Squad. We met through Vine and became friends ever since.
It's 3 in the afternoon, I call Gabbie:
"Hey, wanna grab some coffee before we actually go?"
"Yeah! Give me 15 minutes. I have to finish editing my video"
"Ok sure! You know what, I'll be at your house at 3.30"
"Ok see you!"
I sit down on the couch and see a notification on my phone: @lizakoshy started following you. Liza? I've heard of her. She's a creator on Youtube. I've never met her or seen her videos so I don't actually remember how she looks until I check out her Instagram page as I have plenty of time. The first thing came to my mind when I saw a photo of her is: Wow! This girl is beautiful! I follow her back, obviously. Is she single? Wait what are you thinking David?
I look at the time and realise I need to pick Gabbie up. I get out of the house and drive to her place. I wait for her outside. A few minutes later she runs out of the door
"Hey David! Coffee first right?"
"Yeah"
We get to the drive through and order our coffee. After we got our coffee, I decide to bring up a random topic:
"Hey, do you know Liza Koshy?" I ask as if it's nothing
"Yeah. I met her couple of times"
"Oh ok"
Gabbie doesn't say anything else and sips her coffee, until
"Why did you ask..."
"Do you think she's single" I accidently cut her off with the most embarassing question. Nooooo! Why did I say that?
"You were saying?" Gabbie finally turns to me. Did she hear what I said? God, please say she didn't!
I stop at the red light and don't say a word. I freeze
"DID YOU ASK ME IF SHE WAS SINGLE?" Gabbie screams. Yep, she did hear me. Awesome!
"DO YOU LIKE HER?" Gabbie continues to scream into my poor ears.
The light turns green. I begin to drive again
"Dude! Answer me!"
"FINE! SHE'S CUTE! YA HAPPY? Now can we change the topic?" Dude, why did I even say that? I just saw a photo of her like 15 minutes ago.
"Oh honey you will need to look extra cute tomorrow night!" Gabbie squeels.
I roll my eyes and try to stay focus on the road.

"You won't dress in black from head to toe like always, will ya?"

"Home sweet home!" I say out loud as I open the door. After locking it, I throw my bags and hop on the sofa. I look around and it's dead quiet. Sometimes I feel kinda lonely to live alone and far away from home. I mean I have friends here in LA but they can't always be here to hang out with me, you know.
I pull out my laptop and edit my video. As I'm doing it, a notification goes off on my phone. I take a look at it: @lizakoshy posted a new photo. Since when I turned on her post notification? I shrug and just open it to see what she posted. What? I can pause working to look at a person's photo, ok!?
Turns out she posted a new video on YouTube. I mean I can watch it since I've seen none of her videos before, so why not?
And that was what I did that night. I watched... like A LOT of her videos. It was addicting you know. Her personality shines through every video. There's something so special about this girl, that I really like.

I fell asleep at some point because I was so tired after a long day. I woke up to see it was 1AM and I haven't finished editing my video yet.

Liza's POV

Today is the Streamy Award and I'm really excited. It's my first year going and I just moved to LA from Texas 3 months ago. I wake up really early and go to the gym. I feel extra healthy today!
