Liza's POV
Monday is here. Today is the day my drama teacher pick one pair to perform at the play next month. I really really really want the part, but I know for sure things gonna get really nuts if Stacie sees me performing with David.
I walk into school and pull out my phone to see the timetable. Drama class is the third period. The bell rings and I step in the first class. Constantly looking at the clock, I try to wait patiently for drama class.
Second period...
Wait.....
.....
Yes! The bell rings!!!

Third person's POV
She grabs all her books from the table, stands up and walks straight out of the door. She runs... I mean .... walks fast to her locker, literally throws all of her books in and goes to drama class.
Meanwhile, he seems like he's in a hurry too. He does the same thing like her without knowing, rushing to his locker, tossing all his things in and runs to class. He keeps an excited face on him the whole process. What is he even excited about?
She was busy walking fast, not paying attention to her surrounding so when she almost approach the doorway, she crashes into somebody. When I mean "somebody", it's someone with a really fit body. As she crashes into.... HIM.... she can feel his hard chest, full of muscles, must be from all the days he spend working out in the gym. You know she fell in love so hard that in a small amount of time, she could notice every small detail of him.
"Sorry" She moves back a bit to meet a beauiful, handsome face. She instantly looks down at her feet to avoid his eyes, 'cause she knows the moment she does, she will blush
"It's ok! That was my fault"
He doesn't mind. Seeing her makes him the happiest he can be. Oh.... did I tell you, he loves her? No? Well now you know. He doesn't want to ask her out, because he can feel she just wants to push him away, but little did he know, her life was comlicated. He has no idea she wants to be with him so bad, but she just can't. It's like the universe doesn't allow them to be together, wait... it's more like Stacie doesn't.
Anyway, got little carried away about that.
They enter the classroom just in time the bell rings. Their teacher walks in with some paper and files on her hand. As you know, the roles will be announced today.
Their teacher - Mrs. Green- starts the lesson.
"Ok. So I will get straight to the list of roles"
She calls out some names, but all of them are not the main ones.
"And lastly, the main roles go to"
Her hearts pounds harder than ever. Why is this so important to her? Is is because she wants that role so bad? She knows it will be bad if she's with him... romantically.... so why not "by accident-ly"?
"Rudy and Mia..."
What? Why?
".... but since Rudy said he was going to be on holiday at that time already... David, you're in"
David stays in silence for a second. Looks like he's thinking about something, but in fact, his mind is fighting with his heart. This isn't right....
"Sorry, Mrs. Green, but my partner is Liza. I will take the part as long as she's in too"

Liza's POV
I gaze at David as soon as those words come out of his mouth. What did he say? I look around and everybody is whispering.
Mrs. Green thinks for a while.
"I think it's fine if Mia's ok with that"
"Mia?" David turns to her
She shrugs
"I'm cool"
He then turns me and I can feel my eyes are watery. He did it for me? For me???
"Thanks" I mumble shyly, kicking my feet lightly to the ground.
"You're welcome" He says quietly with a grin.

Rumours spread around about David having a crush on me. I mean I wish that was true, but the truth is opposite. Luckily, our friendship doesn't change because of that... it's still awkward as always. Cool! Now I every time I step foot in the gym for dance practice, all I receive is glare from Stacie. She can't do anything to me, since I'm "not in love with him", he's in love with me instead. I guess that's great because I want to believe that.

Third person's POV
David and Liza both planned to meet after school today to practice for the play together.... for the last time before the play at this weekend.
He arrives at the school's stage first. He turns on all the light on stage and sits down to wait for Liza. He puts on the headphones and takes out the script to read through it.
She's here. She walks along the audience's seats to the stage where he is, without his notice.
"David"
She catches him off guard. He looks up to see her crossing her arms, her backpack is hung on one shoulder.
"Hey!" He slowly takes off his headphones and puts them on the
ground. The music is still on so you can hear it through the headphones.
"I like that song" She smiles
"Ok let's start" He stands up and dusts off his pants.

The whole process they didn't actually rehearse. She said her lines and sometimes he just interuppted her by making up the silliest joke ever. She wasn't even annoyed. Instead she laughed along. Not a lot of boys can make her laugh, but he didn't happen to be one.
They cherrish every moment together, secretly, without knowing they were both doing the same thing.

David's POV
It's almost time we need to go home. I notice Liza starts to pack her things up. It's still not that late so I decided it was time to make my move. I connect my phone to my bluetooth speaker and play the song earlier.

Play the song up their. It's a beautiful song.

Ya done?! Have you started playing it yet?
Ok now back to le story

She was in the mid-way of putting on her jacket when she heard the music. She immediatly turns around to face me
"Seriously?" She raises her eyebrows and I can see she's trying to hold back a smile
I stand across the stage from her and shrug. I say loudly
"I thought since you're in a dance team, maybe you can show me some moves"
She hesitantly looks at the floor and looks back up at me with a cutest smile. She drops her denim jacket and walks to my direction.
She looks down at my hand and we start to step inch and inch closer. She doesn't say a word. Slowly, my left hands is interwined with hers. It feels so warm and soft. Wow, I sounds like such a creep. She begins swaying her hips and giggles as she sees me trying to do the same. She uses her right hand to grab my arms firmly, bringing it to her small waist. I can feel her shiver by my touch. She then puts her right hand on my shoulder. After a while, I can finally see her face as she looks up from the ground. Her cheeks instantly turn red when we lock eyes, but this time she doesn't try to look away, which surprises me. I take a moment to study her eyes, her beautiful brown eyes. The stage light glows around her, makes she looks even more of an angel. She begins taking her steps. I clumsily follow along.
"So when I take a step up, you take a step back, ok?!"
I nod
I stepped on her foot quite a few times and it caught her off guard everytime. She couldn't hold back her giggles:
"Your moves need a lot of work mr."
I blush as I'm embarrasing myself infront of her.
After a while, I become used to it. "I'm getting better" I whisper with a smile
"Yes, looks like you are"
The music is coming to an end. We're standing so close together that I can feel her breath. Her right hand slowly moves from my shoulder, tracing to my neck so she cups my cheek. This is it.
We lean in slowly. Suddenly, the music stops. She freezes and open her eyes. I look at her in confusion, but still try to patiently wait for her respond.
She drops her hands and releases from me. My heart sinks. Why is she keeps doing this to me?
She turns to her shoulder and stutters
"I'm sorry. I can't do this"
"Why?" Tears start to form in my eyes.
She stays in silence and turns away from me.
I quickly grab her arms. She turns around to face me one more time
"David, my life is more complicated than you think" A tear runs down her cheek
"Now please let me go"
I let go off her
She walk fast towards her backpack and picks up her stuff up.
I put hands in my pockets as I watch her. I squeeze my pants to release my anger. She keeps doing this to me, playing with my heart.
She walks out the backstage's door and turns to look at me one more time with her sorry eyes.
"Just go Liza"
"I'm sorry David. I'll explain some day"
"Why not now?" I say almost yelling at her
She doesn't say a word, just stands there. Seems like she's got something to say, but she's trying hard to hold it back. We stand there, across from each other.
I give up, I turn around to walk to my backpack to go home. I'm almost there when I hear her from behind:
"Cause I love you"
I pause with no reponse. I turn around and she's already gone.
