I couldn't hold my tears back any longer. I gulped. I was hoping for Rey to say something. Anything. Just to break the silence. Instead, she came closer and hugged me.
It was a warm hug. A lovely, caring hug. For the first time since long, I felt happiness. Like somebody could actually understand me.
"Do you understand?" I whispered under my breath. "Yes. I do."
This could have lasted forever, but only seconds after a bunch of Stormtroopers came in. Rey immediately let go of me. She was just as confused as I was.
"General Hux has been trying to reach you. He needs your help. Come with us. If you don't, we have the order to immediately escort you."
I didn't dare to move. Why would they force me to come somewhere I didn't even want to be. Or did I? I didn't know. Yet.
So they came up to me, put handcuffs on me, and carried me outside. Rey connected via the force. "I will come. Don't worry."
"No! They're going to kill you."
"Don't worry. I'll manage."
I tried to free myself of the Stormtroopers grab, but they just tightened on me. They carried me into my ship, where officers were waiting to fly us over. The hologram connected. It was Hux. I really didn't wanna talk to him at all right now. But I had no choice.
"Kylo Ren! Where in the world have you been?! Whatever! This girl, medium long, dark hair, was telling ME that she had achieved more in life than the First Order will ever all together!"
"..."
"Besides, she generally is a stupid, conceited bi*ch!"
"Watch your language, General."
"Is that all you have to say?! You need to give that girl a brainwash! A REAL one! I would've already, but I can't use the force."
"I'm on my way."
I was just feeling annoyed. Exhausted. Confused. Sad. Happy. It all came together this right moment.
