As midnight approached, i decide to take leave from the party. It was pretty obvious of me to leave after what I had just seen. So, I went outside and walked towards my car.

As I was unlocking my car, I heard a faint scream from afar. By time, the sound got louder and louder. Finally, I understood the words and recognized the voice.

"AYMAAANNN!!!!! WAAAAIIITTTT!!! CAN YOU TURN AROUND?" screamed Thea

Immediately, i stop halfway through turning on my car's engine. Thea comes sprinting to my car and gets inside in a rush.

"What are you hurrying to? It's 2:44 in the morning." I asked her

"Can you just drive me home? No questions now, I'll explain everything on the way." said Thea

I proceeded to drive Thea home, without any questions. However, I got really hungry in the middle of the drive and so, we stopped at a random nearby restaurant. As we were eating, she told me the whole story. Apparently, Neehan tried to make a move on her and this was her escape. Also, according to her, Neehan had been trailing us with his Ferrari. Afterwards, she mentioned that we shook him off.

As we ate, we discussed about our teenage days in Sunbeams. Man, those were fun times. Back then, I still had that semi Elvis haircut and an ever expanding mustache.

Our conversation was cut by the sound of a super car.

"VROOM VROOM" roared,  a Ferrari

Neehan found us. We had to run, again.

I quickly started the engine and floored the gas and we were out of the parking lot and Neehan's vicinity in no time.

Thea let out a sigh of relief as soon as Neehan's Ferrari was no longer in view.

While I was driving, songs from my childhood were playing on the radio. Somehow, I knew the lyrics to every song that played and so, I sang along to them. After a long term of stress and pressure, this had been relaxing. My career had started to take a toll on me. I really needed this short break. Something about reconnecting to your best friend who you couldn't see for two whole years was magical to me. Today had been like a nostalgia train and secretly, I was slowly getting extremely emotional.

We reached Thea's place, but by now, the sun had already risen. Instead of attending to my work, i decided to take the day off and ask Thea if we could spend the day catching up. Thea agreed to the idea and we started off our conversation with a warm cup of coffee.

As we were sipping our coffee, Thea said, 'I wonder what Enver and Amani are doing.....' . If we only knew what they had been up to while enjoying the bitter yet smooth cup of coffee, our extensive adventure may had never started.....
