Hmm, coffee. I couldn't help but think about my university memories as they flooded in....Almost every single weekend in Thea's dorm room at Stanford
A loud knock on my door disrupted me in the dark of the night, and I don't even have to guess who it is. 'How many got you drunk this time?' I ask, and he replies '8 vodka shots and 3 glasses of whiskey...', somewhat fumbling, but I understood because it was always the same. He stumbles upon entering my room but eventually finds himself a chair to sit on. 'Remind me as to why I go through this trouble for you again?' I ask him while I prepare coffee for both of us. 'Cause you are my best friend and you know I'd do the same for you if you were hungover? also considering the fact that i'm not hungover at that time haha', he says in an annoying voice out of his headache. Sometimes it's just straight up annoying as to how Ayman's always right. I put down the mugs full of hot coffee on the table and as soon as he picks up his cup, he starts making weird expressions and then runs to the bathroom to get it all out, while I whisper to myself, taking a sip of my coffee, 'I swear to God this guy will never change!'.
-----
I couldn't help but smile thinking back on that. Would we still do that if we were in contact for the past two years? I wonder. 'VROOM VROOM', a sound blares into my ears, disrupting my thoughts. I have the urgency to look at Ayman and say 'Not again!!!'. He then picks up his jacket and says, 'Gotta blast'. We then go by the backdoor of my apartment downstairs, and can see Neehan already climbing the stairs to my apartment.
'Shit that was close!', I said.
'You up for Times Square?', he asks.
'Yes, please, I could really use a break from this Neehan drama.' I replied
So we catch the next subway to Times Square. On the train, he seemed kind of distressed. Maybe it was about work or something, but I didn't think it would be right to ask him, so I didn't. As we got off at the station, Ayman asked me, 'So what are you up for now?'. I was looking in different directions to search for somewhere to go to when I saw something weird.
It was Tazwaar.
But that's not the weird part.
There was a girl with him. And she strongly resembled Nameeda.
I tugged his hand and asked Ayman, 'Don't tell me that's Tazzo and Nameeda', while pointing in their direction. And this is the weirdest part- as soon as I ask Ayman about it, I see both of them making out, and the first thing that comes to my mind is 'What the hell?!'.
Ayman, on the other hand, didn't seem so shocked. Instead, he said, 'Umm Thea, I think there is something you should know.....'
