"Sometimes you have to stop being scared and go for it. Either it will work or it won't. That's life."

It had been three days since I ripped my stitches, four days since I had been outside. I felt like I was going crazy, lying on a metal table would do that to you.

The stab wound didn't hurt as much anymore, in fact it had been reduced to a dull, fading pain. Clarke had applied ointment on the on the wound to prevent infection which I'm sure would've been much worse. I heard screams before rushed into the drop ship and hid inside, I sat up on my elbows and furrowed my eyebrows.

"It's okay, it's only rain." I heard Octavia's call from outside and the people who had come into the drop ship slowly creeped back outside.

Rain. I wanted to see rain, I learned about it in a weather section of earth skills. I wanted to see the liquid falling from the sky, I tried to slowly sit up myself without causing too much pain. I heard the tarp covering the door rustle and Judah appeared with a grin.

"I'll help you, but if Bellamy or Clarke kill me it's on you." Judah warned as he approached me.

I grinned mischievously in return, Judah and I had become good friends ever since we landed which had only been about a week maybe. I wrapped my right arm around Judah's neck, he held my back firmly helping me onto my feet. I stumbled slightly, but Judah made sure to keep me steady.

"It's okay, take your time and put all your weight on me." Judah urged as we stopped moving forward.

I leaned my body into him and slowly but surely we were making progress. With each step we took I felt a little discomfort in my left side, but ignored it for the time being.

"You don't know how long I've wanted to get out of here." I breathed as we were at the tarp.

"Oh believe me I do, you've told me. Numerous times." Judah replied and I hit his ribs gently.

Judah pulled back the tarp and my eyes widened, I watched with a smile as teenagers danced around circles with their arms spread wide. I caught a glimpse of Octavia throwing her back in laughter and I smiled slightly, we hadn't spoken since we fought about Atom and that had been awhile ago. I sensed that Octavia felt guilty for not doing anything when I was strung up with Murphy and I figured that's why she had been avoiding me.

"I could get her to come visit you." Judah stated, I looked at him as the rain hit his head flattening his hair.

"Nah it's okay, she'll talk when she's ready." I lifted my head towards the sky and let the rain rub over my face.

I opened my mouth and caught tiny droplets, it was refreshing to be outside and experiencing a rain shower. That's what it was, a rain shower it had calmed down nearing a complete halt and I shivered slightly against Judah.
