Disappearance

The thing that I awoke to was a very, enjoyable (hint the sarcasm), bang on the head.

Not that someone had physically hit my head, it was just that, I kind of managed to bang my head against the roof of the boot of the car that I was in, seeing as it was pitch black, but anyway. Such fun.

I let out a muffled groan, instantly moving my hand to massage the back of head, before I could try and process where I was and what had happened. Then it hit me once again, harder than it had the first time.

I had been kidnapped.

My thoughts bolted back to what had happened the previous night...

Had it even been night? Or was it early morning?

I groaned again, my thoughts were too fuzzy from the drug, which most likely could've been sedative.

Ok Ember. What happened, where are you?

The question hanged in my head but refused to be looked further into.

Obviously, judging by what had happened next, the sedative had not completely worn itself off, and I dozed myself back into an, what seemed like an endless sleep.

-------

After what seemed like days, which may have well been only a few hours, I woke myself up from the glare of sun glaring down at me from a crack in the boot door, which was quickly being opened.

I quickly shut my eyes as a reflex from the sudden light, as I did so, I felt myself being picked up again, and I immediately wedged my eyes open to see who the culprit was.

It was a tall man, with a lean build, and jet black hair that never seemed to be out of place, even though he didn't seem to be one of those extremely muscular body builders, he managed perfectly well to pick me up in the most uncomfortable ways possible, he seemed to do a pretty good job, seeing as I was thrashing about like a sack of potatoes, being as unhelpful as ever to whatever he was trying to achieve.

"Can't you just hold still for one second!?" The perfecthair-culprit-guy moaned, and yes, I do need to find out his name.

As he said this, I couldn't help but smirk, before biting back a responce.

"Oh, I'm truly sorry, but, i'm finding it a bit hard to hold still, for usually, people are calm when they aren't being kidnapped... So, it might be helpful if maybe you don't kidnap me? How does that sound, then we both will be happy, you won't have to handle someone thrashing your back, and I can just be on my way."

The perfecthair-culprit-guy just grunted a responce, before heaving me higher onto his back and walking towards a building. It was only then when I began to take in my surroundings.

I arched my neck around as far as it could go in such an uncomfortable position in order to see what surrounded me.

My pupils enlarged in amazement at the landscape around me, rolling hills of vibrant green grass and rivers, not to mention the snow-capped mountains enclosing all of this, the sky was just as vibrant as the grass, except it was no colour that I had ever seen in my life. It was such a bright blue, yet it was a kind of purply-grey. Either way, it looked out of this world. Literally.

I must have let out a gasp of amazement, because perfecthair-culprit-guy raised an amused eyebrow.

"It's out of this world isn't it?" He exlaimed.

"More or less" I replied, trying to mask my amazement.

"That would make sense," He continued, "Because you aren't on earth anymore."
