I stood there, my mind blank, as I processed what he had just said before allowing my first responce to be shown.
I laughed.
And when I say laughed, I mean, starting off with a snort that lasted about five seconds, before doubling over in laughter.
Now, while I was doing this, the perfecthair-culprit-guy just stared at me, dumbfounded.
"Why on earth are you... Let me rephrase that." He took a deep breath, "Why on Saquan are you laughing?" He asked, an eyebrow raised in amusement.
I bent over, lifting my index finger, signalling to him to wait a second as I attempted to halt my laughter, my stomach muscles aching from the effort of uncontrollable laughter. Once I had silenced myself I parted my lips to answer,
"I am laughing, because, that's just physically impossible!"
I burst into laughter again, struggling to speak in between gasps, "I mean, seriously! You kidnapped me about, what 6 hours ago? 7 hours ago? How should I know, but from my perspective, it would have taken you alot more time then that to send me into a freaking space ship! And send me into space! BWAHAHAHAHA."
The Perfecthair-Culprit-Guy just stared at me, both of his brows raised, his face showing slight concern. "I think you may have, quite possibly given your head quite a bump whilst you were in the car..."
My mind wandered back to when I woke up in the boot of the car, and banging my head. Yes, maybe that caused me to be slightly delusional! But who cares! If anyone here is delusional, it would be this guy! I mean, we aren't on earth? Who says that.. pffft.
"Ember. I am not lying, you are in Saquan. I'll explain how you got here later, I just need you to listen to me. Okay?"
I raised an eyebrow, slowly becoming more aware of the situation that I was in. Ok, maybe this guy was telling the truth, but what proof does he have? Sure, the view had more than an average sunset, but still, that proved nothing.
"What proof do you have that will cause me to believe you? Hmm?"
It was as if I had flicked a switch, he tensed suddenly, and spoke quickly with urgency.
"Get in the car."
"Why on earth should I get in the car! Who knows if you'll take me to another magical place, who knows! maybe another place called magical-mystical-mysterious-fantasy-lying land?"
Without warning he opened the car boot and literally threw me into it, a growl releasing from his throat.
"I said get in the car!" He began to pace, every few seconds looking around.
I began to freak out.
I opened the door slightly in order to make my words audible enough for him to hear.
"Um, dude, if you're trying to freak me out into believing you, it's working, so.. could you stop?"
His head immediately faced me.
I let out a gasp.
His eyes were no longer a startling green, but instead, a dark red. He fell to the ground, panting, his chest heaving with the effort of breathing.
I began to panic, what was wrong with him! What was causing him to behave like this?
Without realising I had closed my eyes and had begun to bite my nails.
As soon as I opened my eyes and looked back at him.
I wish I hadn't.
