Regrets always come last. Krissy has proven that the moment she woke up alone in her bed... again. She knows that she shouldn't be shocked but somehow, she wished that after what happened last night between her and Robin, she would be able to see his gorgeous face the very first thing in the morning. But there was no trace of Robin in her room except for his scent that lingered on her sheets.
This strange feeling inside of her is seriously making her stupid. Stupid for hoping that finally, Robin would feel the same for her. And stupid for forgiving him even before he apologized.
Now that it crossed her, she thought that she deserved a punishment for giving in to her body's desires and let the temptation of feeling Robin inside her womanhood win over her. The moment she felt Robin's kisses, all the aches she had felt after what she saw at his office, vanished for a moment. And that was certainly not a good thing.
Being in a one sided love was like craving for suicide. Because a one-sided love or in a no label kind of relationship, there would always be a fool and a foolish. But in their situation, she was both. She was a fool for loving the person who had no feelings for her and treated her like a sex slave. She was a fool for falling for him when all he did was to give her a cold treatment. She was a fool for letting herself be used to warm his bed at night. And she was even foolish for being aware of all these things yet she still allowed Robin to treat her that way.
She stood up and went straight into her bathroom. She turned on the shower and let the cold water drench her naked body. Staring at her reflection in the mirror, tears fell from her eyes along with the water from the shower. She was crying yet her eyes were cold.
"A king needs a queen, not a princess. Stop being innocent and show him the queen she should see in you."
So much for being a fool. Since she has already fell into the pit of their one-sided relationship, might as well she enjoy it.
After having a cold bath, she dressed up and told the driver to bring her to the mall. She enjoyed her self by having a complete body massage and spa. She even went shopping for new dresses, using the cards that Robin gave her for the first time. Before leaving the mall and as a farewell to her innocence, she went to a salon and cut her hair short, about the shoulder level. She also followed the hair stylist's suggestion of dying her hair.
She continuously blinked her eyes as she stared at her reflection in the full-sized mirror of the salon. The girl standing in front of her looks years older than the Krissy she knew.
"If I hadn't known your age, I would surely think that you're a college student now with your new look, Miss Krissy." Even Kim, her hair stylist was struck in awe with her new look.
"It's all really thanks to your magical hands that transformed me into a woman." She still couldn't avert her eyes from her own reflection. It was like she was attracted and hypnotized by the beauty of the woman before her.
Now, she thought, that she deserved to be called a woman. This was the real face of a queen.
She strode more confidently than before in the mall. She felt like a woman with her new look. Hence, guys had been checking her out. She was unaware of the attention she was getting especially from guys. She continued roaming around the mall, stopping by a few boutiques to buy herself clothes. She even entered Victoria's Secret to buy some personal stuffs.
After an hour or so, she finally got exhausted and hungry. She ordered food at the food court to fill her hunger. Guys continued to check out the oblivious young lady. One of them, never left her the moment he saw her. He was entranced by her beauty. He always had and always been.
