-2019-

"Chaeyoung." A tall guy called.

Park Chaeyoung, or her stage name, Rosé, was sitting on the couch placed on the backside of the dark practice room.

She didn't actually hear her name called out once, until another one came, much louder, accompanied by a nudge on her side by Lisa.

"N-neh?" She snapped to reality.

The trainer sighed, shaking his head while putting his hands on his waist.

"You're not focused. Again."

Chaeyoung blinked a few times furiously, realizing her fault. "N-neh, I'm sorry. I promise it won't happen again."

The strict-looking person sighed again, defeated.

"This better be the last time, Chaeyoung. We're working as a team, so we need you to give it your all."

Chaeyoung kept her head low, feeling extremely guilty. Her members were sitting beside her on the black couch, and she didn't even need to look to tell that they were staring at her, probably with worried eyes, with glints of disappointment too.

The trainer turned off the song, and faced the rest of the dancing crew.

"That's all for today, I guess. We'll come back again in two days for more practice."

He turned to the Blacpink members again, "you guys should rest on these two days. And while you're at it, I want you to gain back your focus, Chaeyoung. Please."

Once they stepped into their dorm, Chaeyoung stormed off into her room, telling her members that she doesn't want to be disturbed that night.

She lay on her bed after a quick shower, her baby pink sheets matched with faint scents of her perfume; lavender.

For some reason, the sweet smell didn't work on helping her clear her own mind like it always did.

Her eyes stared into the ceiling, wandering off to a distance.

Why am I still thinking about this?

[Flashback]

"I.. I really like you, Chaeyoung-ssi."

Even when he was stuttering nervously, his bunny teeth wasn't hid from anyone.

Chaeyoung stood there speechless. She'd never expect this person in front of her would come and confess.

Sensing the uncomfort in her eyes, the guy tensed visibly.

"I-I mean, I know that we never even greeted each other and stuff, but I'm putting that aside, because I really like you, I-I just- damn I'm not good with words-"

"I-I'm sorry." She cut him off, making him startled with the sudden apology.

"H-huh?"

"I'm sorry Jungkook-ssi." She said, and in a flash, she turned and walked away, leaving him confused and rejected there.

***

It's been around two months since she was confessed by Jungkook.

And for some unfathomable reason, it's all that Chaeyoung could think about for these past days and weeks.

It's been causing her some trouble, honestly. The thought of it was always there to mess up her mind, and it was a large disturbance; she'd been losing her focus on practice, that at this rate, Chaeyoung wouldn't be surprised if the CEO himself would come and scold her.
