Park Chaeyoung paced back and forth in her room, her head filled with so many thoughts, she felt like it'd burst any minute.

She was feeling anxious that she couldn't clear all the things that were playing on her mind.

Wait.

Actually that was a lie.

There weren't 'so many thoughts'.

It's just 'a thought'.

'A thought about Jeon Jungkook'.

Yeah, that's better.

Just the thought of his name was bringing her stress from an unknown source, it's like he was a virus program, destroying her ability to process the events happening around her.

And it started when Jungkook made it known to her that he has her number.

She was entirely nervous, scared and confused to the fact that a male idol has her contact. She'd vowed to herself not to give away her number easily, but you could say she'd already forgotten that she was the one who gave it to Namjoon.

And the fact that Jungkook once confessed to her wasn't helping at all.

In her opinion, Jungkook was just like any other guy, those annoying kinds who keep on chasing you through texts and calls even when you said 'no'.

She had already experienced it once. There was a guy who entered her life using the disguise of a friend before. Times passed, you guessed it, he told her how much he likes her and bla bla.

Chaeyoung rejected him of course. She was sure that they were better off as friends, the way she liked it best. She also thought he'd understand. But the guy was just adamant on wanting the relationship to grow; he'd call and text her and DM her and send her pictures all the time and what else.

It was just, disturbing.

Ugh, men.

One day, Chaeyoung decided the guy wasn't even worth in her list of friends. His number was officially blocked.

Speaking of blocking a number, this time, Chaeyoung is more worried, because Jungkook was her patient, and she was told to keep an eye on him.

She couldn't just block him!

And just for your information, Namjoon didn't save her number, meaning only Jungkook had her number saved.

And what was making it worse was that Jungkook hasn't even tried to contact her even once!

Except for that short thank you call.

And that was a week ago.

Ask Chaeyoung why it was worse, but she doesn't know either.

Maybe he's just busy.

Maybe he's already moved on?

Ha. I knew it. International playboy much?

Wait maybe he really is busy.

Could he be dead?!

Shit. He could be dead. Maybe that's why he's not contacting me?

"Ugh why do I even care?!" She hissed to herself, scratching her head furiously.

She sat down on the floor, taking a few deep yoga breaths to calm herself down.

"Phew. Okay. Chaeyoung, why do you care?" She asked herself.

"Jeon Jungkook is just a patient. He's just a patient, okay? You don't really have to think about it." She repeated to herself.

But when her phone on the bed suddenly rang, she immediately picked it up, not bothered to look at the caller's ID.

"Yeobuseyeo? Jungkook-ssi are you okay? Have you taken the medicine?" She rushed.

"Yah, what's with the formality with your own mother? And who's Jungkook?" She heard a lady's voice chuckle from the other end.

She immediately gasped when she realized she was talking to her mom, and not Jungkook.

"E-eomma, annyeong. Sorry. What's wrong eomma?" She asked, red painted on her face.

She heard her mom giggle. "You silly girl. Your father and I are in Korea now."

"O-oh.." She replied. After a few years of living as a technically foreign idol, Chaeyoung had grown up and wasn't the crybaby she was anymore. She still misses her hometown, but not to the point where she'd cry just by the mention of 'home'. So her parents and her sister Alice weren't really bothered to call whenever they visit Korea nowadays.

"Then do you need anything eomma?"

"Ani, I'm just wondering if you're free tomorrow for lunch. It's been a while since we last saw you after all."

"Oh, okay eomma. I'm pretty sure we're free tomorrow, but let me check with the manager again. I'll call you back later okay?"

"Okay, sweetie. Bye!"

"Bye eomma"

The call ended, and she buried her face in a pillow hardly.

"Omaigaaaaaaad why am I still thinking about himmm...!" She screamed in her pillow.

She lifted her face, shook her head to shrug it off and dialled the manager's number.

The next day, Chaeyoung got dressed in a short denim jeans and an oversized white button up shirt that makes her feel and look cute.

Her parents had called earlier to inform that they were already at the restaurant, and added that her aunt that she hasn't met for a long time was joining them for the lunch.

As her cab came to a halt, she skipped her way towards to the vintage-designed restaurant building. When she entered, she immediately saw the table her parents were sitting at. But there were another two figures, a lady and a guy who had their backs facing Chaeyoung, so she couldn't recognize them.

One of them must be her aunt, but the other person was not known to her. Chaeyoung guessed it was her son, seeing that his hair was somewhat of a dark brown with hints of blonde dye, and there were visible earrings on both side of his ears; it wasn't something a male in his 40s would do right?

As she approached the group with a smile, her mom noticed her first and greeted her.

"Chaeyoung, you're here! Here, meet you aunt and cousin-"

Chaeyoung's eyes widened in super shock as the mysterious guy turned around to face her.

"JIMIN SUNBAENIM??"
