Kcon Japan 2019

KCON Japan: Day I

It was the first day of the festival, and the lineup was really good, and the fans were full of anticipation and hype.

Blackpink was one of the artist that was scheduled to perform that day, alongside NCT, Wanna One, Bolbbalgan4, Lee Hi, Lovelyz, Gfriend and Stray Kids.

They performed their new songs from their new album as well as some covers of Japanese songs, and all of it was crazy good and lit.

They were told that they didn't really have to follow the dance choreography, so the girls finally felt what they really wanted; what their sunbaes had felt, freedom while singing onstage.

It was a satisfying night for the girls, to see their fans jumping along to the beat of their songs, to sing and dance in front of thousands, to sincerely perform to their heart's content.

And the best part was that the other artists were hyping up to their performance too.

Amongst the huge ocean of fans, BTS were standing at the VIP section, cheering for them. It's really touching to see how they could interact freely to each other's stage now that everybody knows that the two groups are close, bobbing their heads and doing the dance moves without a single worry of rumours and scandals.

Jungkook called Chaeyoung that night, which Jisoo rolled her eyes at the younger girl and went to Lisa and Jennie's room instead.

It was understandable, because they were really sharing the same floor and only a few doors away.

"Wow, you guys were really great today! Like, really really awesome!"

Chaeyoung chuckled at Jungkook's excitement.

"Really?"

"Yeah! I mean, you guys looked so great."

"Us? How about me?" She teased.

"Oh? Did I miss something? I said I only saw you today."

Chaeyoung bit her lips hard to cover her shyness, but she knew that he could probably tell that she was blushing through the phone by the way he chuckled.

This damn idiot.

"Ugh, lovebirds. One of these days I'm gonna puke." Jisoo grunted, Chaeyoung didn't notice that the older girl had came back into the room.

"Sh-shut up unnie.." She said in embarrassment, and quickly ended the call.

KCON Japan: Day II

Day 2 was even crazier.

BTS, iKON, IU, Red Velvet, EXO, Taeyeon, Highlight.

In the same day.

The fans were blessed, but they surely got home without their voices due to all the shoutings and screamings.

Amongst their list of songs that they sang that night, BTS performed one of their old songs called Attack on Bangtan.

Here's a small hint on how lit they were;

Blackpink was awed at the outstanding cheers of the fans, and how amazing the boys were. It was their first time to genuinely react to any artists' performance, and it felt damn great for them.

The girls saw for themselves how they looked last night when they were the ones onstage; running and jumping around while singing. Wide smiles were evident on their faces despite the dripping sweats, reflecting their discovery of joy in working hard.

Jungkook would occasionally make his way towards the VIP section, sending winks and smirks at the one particular person.

And that person doesn't want to say it, but admits that he was really attractive that moment.

Later that night, Chaeyoung and Jungkook talked on the phone again, though this time Chaeyoung had to go to the balcony because Jisoo said she wanted to sleep.

"Hey, I missed you." Jungkook suddenly blurted out, taking her by surprise and instantly made her heart race. The sudden claim totally caught her off guard, and his voice that sounded extra raspy through the phone wasn't helping either.

"Yea, I miss myself too." She said, trying hard not to stutter.

They laughed together, before Jungkook suddenly asked her if she wanted to go out on the next day.

"Eh? Tomorrow?"

"Yeah, tomorrow. There's some great places you need to see."

"Um, okay, I guess!"

"Yes! See you tomorrow then. Goodnight Chaeng, please don't sleep in!"

"See you tomorrow. Goodnight, Jungkook." She giggled to herself and shook her head before ending the call.

She crept into her bed slowly not to wake Jisoo up, and went to sleep in excitement.

We're really close to the boys now huh, we're even going out in public in a whole group.

She smiled a little to herself as she closed her eyes.

Maybe it really is thanks to me and Jungkook.
