A few soft knocks came on Chaeyoung's door, pulling her attention away from her book.

"Come in!" She called from her bed.

Jennie came in and casually took the spot beside Chaeyoung on her bed, following her posture by resting her back on the headboard.

"Chaeyoung-ah." Jennie spoke right away.

"Mhm?" She replied, though her eyes didn't move from the book on her lap.

Chaeyoung froze midway on flipping a page.

She turned her head to the girl beside her.

"Sorry?"

Jennie didn't bother to repeat her question. With a knowing smirk, she answered it herself.

"It's alright. I already know the answer."

Chaeyoung's eyes widened.

"W-what do you mean?"

The smirk turned into a large gummy grin on Jennie's face.

"Oh, come on Chaeyoung, everybody knows you like him. Why else would you blush and smile like an idiot whenever you're texting him?"

Now Chaeyoung could feel her cheeks getting red.

"I- uh.. I.."

But Jennie didn't seem to want to stop mortifying her just yet.

"Plus, you went berserk when Jungkook didn't contact you for two weeks, and when he did, you're back to completely fine. If that doesn't define being whipped, then I don't know what does."

Chaeyoung was very speechless. She couldn't respond to what Jennie had just said, because she knows she really did act like that.

But then Jennie's expression suddenly changed, her eyes presenting her worry with a frown.

"But Rosie.." She called for the younger girl's attention.

"If you really do like him, I think you should explain this.."

She pulled out her phone, her screen showing a headline news that made Chaeyoung shocked.

"This was.. The day I went out with Jungkook.. We promised to meet at the hospital, then suddenly Jaehyun showed up.."

"Anyways, you need to clear this to Jungkook. You have a date with him tonight, yes?"

Once again Jennie surprised Chaeyoung.

Jennie just laughed it off. "You told us, silly. You were so excited after he called you yesterday."
