A Hopeless Poet's Corner

underwater

Under the water
I open my eyes
And I see the beautiful blue

The animals surround me
In this peaceful place
I close my eyes again and forget to breathe

The beauty around me
Makes me lose my breath
But I don't want to go back up for air

I stay under for just another moment
Taking in the beautiful sight
Then I emerge for air

Take in a big gulp
And go back under
To the beautiful water

This under sea world
Next to the sand
A beautiful place
This blue little world

I love being in the water and I like being under it
