One

Zara's P.O.V.

I would run to where the people were gathered around the ship. I push my way through the crowd a bit and see Kanna being held by Zuko.

"What have they done to you?" I whisper, just watching him for a minute

I look over and see Sokka lying in the snow by the defense.

"Sokka!" I whisper and make my way over to him

"You need to get Gran-Gran, Zara. You don't know what they are capable of." Sokka says

"I can't get Gran-Gran, Zuko has her." I say

"Where's Katara and Aang?" He asks

"I have no idea." I say

"That's who he wants. He wants Aang." He says

"Well, he can't have Aang." I say

"Where's the avatar?" Zuko yells

"Leave these people alone." Aang says as he shows up

I stand up and look right at Katara and she sees me but looks at Zuko as he is holding Gran Gran.

"An Airbender," Zuko says

"I'll go with you, only if you leave these people alone." Aang says

Zuko takes it into consideration then nods, letting Gran Gran go, as she goes stumbling forward into Katara and the group. Zuko starts to walk towards the ship as Aang follows him.

"Aang, stop!" I yell, walking to where I am in front of the people

"I have to do this Zara, for your village." He says, looking back at me

I purse my lips as I watch Zuko turn around as he hears Aang say my name. I stand there, my arms crossed.

"I also want her to come with us." Zuko says, pointing towards me

"You're not getting her." Sokka says

I watch as Zuko starts to throw a fireball at Sokka. I quickly go to divert it, only to be burnt a little, I then shoot it back at him. I hear a few gasps from the group behind me.

"Zara, you do realize what you just exposed." Sokka whispers

"Yes. And I don't care, as it was to save you." I say

I watch as Zuko looks amused as I stand in front of the tribe, watching him, biting my bottom lip.

"You want to try that again Firehead?" I ask

"Oh, you must be testing me, Ara, cause you know I can be merciless." He says

"Leave now. You have what you originally wanted." Sokka says

Zuko looks at me one last time then shoves Aang into the ship and the door shuts behind them.

"Sokka, what are you thinking? You just let the fire nation have the avatar!" I yell

"You three are going to go save him." Kanna says

"But Gran-Gran, I thought you didn't trust him." Katara says

"That was until I found out that he is the avatar, he brought back that hope of this war ending." She says

"Guys let's just go. We don't have much time before we lose them forever." I say

They both nod, hugging Kanna goodbye. I walk over to the igloo and grab my hidden bag and walk back out, towards Appa.
