"I'm not taking you back to Colleen's," I murmur.
"Where am I supposed to go?" she giggles. "I was supposed to stay over to help her clean up. Plus, my car is still there... and my phone. So I can't call her to tell her where I am."
And it's a good thing she can't! If Colleen finds out that I've slept with her, she might just plot a way to murder me in my sleep without making it look like she was at fault. She's known about my crush on Evelyn but has always tormented me about not being able to speak to her myself. But now that I think of it, she didn't seem too pleased when she saw me talking to her in her bedroom earlier. Then again, she knew Evelyn liked Darragh Daly so she wanted to work her wingman magic; it comes natural to her. Is Evelyn still thinking of him? I wonder what she was thinking of during the time being?
I didn't realise I had drifted off until I hear Evelyn laugh then feel her lean up to kiss my cheek. She sits up, looking around like a lost child.
"Where are my panties?"
I lift my pants, throwing the condom into the waste basket, then hand her her blue knickers, which were under my trousers. She slides them on then takes my sweater from the passenger seat, zipping it up a bit more than halfway.
As I pull my trousers up, she jumps over to the passenger side shouting, "There is no way I'm putting those tight-ass jeans on." She then sprawls onto the seat, letting out a large breath. "That was so great, the windows fogged up," she giggles, pressing her hand against the glass. "But I'm a bit hungry now." I smile at her as she juts her lip and makes her eyes look sad. "Or we could just go back to Colleen's." I feel my smile drop faster than a pin.
"I DON'T WANT YOU AROUND DARRAGH," I snap, pounding my fists down on the steering wheel, making her jump in her seat. "He's not a good person, Evelyn! Just trust me, alright? I've known him for too long."
"I'm not saying I want to go back for Darragh," she mumbles down at her lap. "I'm saying I left my bag there so I have no money for food."
Well, don't I feel like an idiot.
"I'm sorry," I sigh, running my hands over my face. "I'm a total arse. I'll pay for takeaway. It's not a problem."A/N: ((Kind of short. Sorry) but Niall's view needed a wrap-up)
