My head throbs at the realization that it's morning. Last night was a roller coaster of emotions for me, I still can't believe it even happened. I slowly drift into consciousness and open my eyes. Grayson's body is still wrapped around mine. His hand is placed gently around my waist while his body is positioned toward mine.

I can't help but stare at his features while he is asleep. His lips are perfectly parted and his floppy hair is messy from the pillow. He probably thinks I'm insane for just barging in here and jumping into his bed, but I didn't want to be alone in such a horrible state of mind. Anthony cheating on me knocked my self esteem down and made me feel like I wasn't good enough to be with. I think that's the worst feeling in the world.

My racing thoughts are interrupted by Grayson's body starting to move. His eyes flutter open and he's looking back at me now. Once he realizes his body is intertwined with mine, he quickly sits up.

"Uh, sorry about that." He nervously laughs while stretching his arms over his head.

"No, it's okay." A small yawn escapes my mouth as I sit at the edge of the bed. "I'm sorry for barging in here last night."

"Don't worry about it." Grayson looks at me. "What happened?"

My body begins to shake as I let out a deep breath. "I went to Mike's party to break up with Anthony."

"I'm assuming that didn't end well." Grayson shakes his head.

"Considering I found him in bed with Scarlett, it went horrible." I hold back more tears.

Grayson's eye grow wide as he sits up even further. "Are you serious?"

"Trust me, I wouldn't be making this shit up." I mumble lowly.

"He's such a fucking asshole." Grayson's voice shakes with anger. "How could he do that to you?"

"This is the second time he's cheated on me with her." My voice cracks as a tear rolls down my cheek. "I feel like such a fool."

"I can't believe him." Grayson runs his hands through his hair in frustration.

"What's wrong with me." A shaky whisper comes out of my voice.

"What?" Grayson moves himself so that he is sitting next to me on the edge of the bed.

"The fact that he cheated on me makes me feel like there's something wrong with me. He clearly didn't want me." I begin to sob, even though I don't mean to.

"The only thing it shows is that he's a dick who doesn't deserve you." Grayson looks into my weeping eyes. "There's nothing wrong with you, Madison."

"Then why would he have the need to sleep with Scarlett? He clearly finds her more attractive than me." I sigh as I softly sob.

"Well if he thinks that then he's clearly blind." Grayson lets out a small chuckle. "Scarlett is a washed up whore who has slept with half of the town." He slowly places his hand on my cheek while wiping away my tears. "You are so beautiful, he's an idiot for not treating you better. You're also really funny and super smart. He doesn't know what he's missing."

"Thank you." I dry the rest of my tears and lightly grin back at him.

"You're better off without him." Grayson smiles down at me. "And you're gonna be just fine."

"I'm never talking to him again." I roll my eyes. "He better not show up here to try to explain himself."

"If he does show up here, I'll just have to beat him up again." Grayson nudges me with a grin.

I laugh at the memory of Anthony and Grayson fighting on the sand. "He totally deserves a black eye."

"Yeah, he definitely does." Grayson laughs.
