Grier Johnson has it all, the good looks, rich and famous parents, and she's the most popular girl at St. Agnes High. Although she appears superficial and onesided to everyone at school, she often finds herself in a hole when she can't express who...
I walked through the doors of my school on Monday morning, I was later to school than usual because Holland insisted on straightening her hair.
"Bye Hols, have a good day." I told my sister as we began to part ways
"Bye, Gray." She told me before she walked upstairs
All that was on my mind was: Where is Everett?
I spotted Jude walking through the hallway.
"Hey, Jude, where is Ev-Everett?" I asked as I corrected myself mid-sentence
"By his locker, he's right there." Jude told as he pointed him out
I smiled, "Thanks, Jude."
I walked quickly and when he closed his locker who looked surprised to see me.
"No way, Grier Johnson talking to me during school hours outside Pala's room! I must be dreaming." He joked
I rolled my eyes with a small smile on my face.
"I need your help." I began
"What's up?" Everett asked me
I sighed, "I can't break up with him."
"Okay? Congratulations." Everett said confused
"No, no, it's not like that. I want to break up with him, but I can't because over the weekend he sent me all this shit like I would kill myself if you broke up with me, I would die if you broke up with me, but then he got aggressive like - have you ever skipped school before?" I stopped myself
Everett shook his head, "No, why?"
"Come on, I can't deal with having classes with him today, we'll come back in time for Pala's class." I tried to persuade him
Everett looked around, "You're a strong girl."
"No, I'm freakin' not, not all the time. Please, Ev. Pala can manipulate the system to make it look like we were here, he likes us." I continued
Everett sighed, "Fine, let's go."
I pulled my keys out from the side pocket of my book-bag.
Just as the bell rang, Everett and I walked quickly out the side door and I led him to my car.
"Here read the text." I said handing him my phone

"You can't let him force you to stay with him, that's hella toxic and sick." Everett expressed as I drove quickly out the school parking lot
I nodded, "I know that, but after what he pulled on Friday, I can't take it anymore."
"What did he pull on Friday?" Everett asked concerned
Shit. It never occurred in my mind that I never really told him what happened, he just knew that I was upset. I didn't even remember most of what I told Everett.
