Everett, Jude, and I sat in his room while we reviewed for our Religion test.
"Ugh, I need a break. Does anyone want anything from the kitchen?" Jude asked us
I looked Everett, "Do you have Oreos?"
"Yeah. Just bring a variety, please." Everett requested
Jude jumped up and walked out of Everett's bedroom.
I groaned as I ran my hands through my hair.
"What's wrong?" Ev asked concerned
I shook my head, "Nothing, I'm just frustrated and tired."
"Gray, don't stress, you're gonna do fine." He assured me as he stood up
Everett walked into his closet and pulled out a box.
"What's that?" I asked him as I stood up
Everett handed me the box with I smile.
"Everett." I said slowly as I looked at him
"Just open it." He grinned
I opened up the box to see a dainty initial necklace.
"Oh my gosh, Evie." I spoke in awe
I sat down on his bed and took out the 'e' necklace out of the box.
"It's so perfect and I'm guessing the 'e' is for Everett." I smiled
He nodded, "Of course."
"You know what I realized?" I started as I handed him the necklace
"What?" Everett wondered as I put my hair up
I could feel him putting the necklace on me.
"Even on my worst days, I'm so happy when I'm with you, and I think that that's what I really need in my life." I spoke
I looked down to see the necklace and I was so extremely happy that words couldn't describe it. That little necklace meant more to me than practically anything.
"You mean so much to me and I really do enjoy growing with you and I wanna keep growing with you no matter what." Everett said as he faced me again
I looked him in the eye, "Same."
He let out a small laugh, "Same, so deep."
I lightly punched his arm, "You know how I feel about you."
"Very fortunate to." Everett smiled as he placed his hands on my cheeks
I bought my attention fully to him and that moment as we began to slowly lean in. Everett and I kissed and it was possibly the best kiss ever.
We pulled away at the same time and just stared at each other.
"Same." Everett said lowly
I rolled my eyes with a smile, "Oh, shut up."
I got off of his bed and back on the floor where my books were.
"I got the snacks." Jude said dropping a bunch of food on the ground
Great timing.
While we studied, we decided that Everett, Jude, Aria, and I would go to a restaurant called Bueno that had live music every Friday night to relieve the stress from this school week. I couldn't wait to get out and spend time with my closest friends while eating good food.
I left Everett's house around seven thirty.
When I got home, I ate dinner, showered, studied some more, and then as I calmed down for the night I texted Ev.
