Mr.Boyce

"Amaniiiiii" My mother screeched "Come on you don't want to be late for your first day at Ashner Prep" she said

"Coming Mom" I said pulling up the ugly plaid socks and puttin on the black shoes. "Not really looking forward to going to school wit a bunch of snobs anyway" I said under my breath.

"I heard that" My mom said for my doorway, that woman really needs to learn how to make noise.

"I'm sorry mom I'm just really scared."I stated

"Honey don't worry you look beautiful" she cooed

"In this mom" I said holding up the plaid skirt and pulling on the green and red plaid tie.

"You make it work baby" I thanked her with a smile and ran down the stairs.

"So mom what's for breakfast?" I said putting my brown curls in a high ponytail.

"Well we are having pancakes and bacon" she said

"Yay lay it on me" I said really excited "Wait a minute" I said holing up my hand "Pancakes and bacon. What's wrong"

"Nothing Amani why would you assume that" She said with a shaky voice

"Mom, really whenever you have to deliver bad news you make bacon and pancakes so come on mom spill it."

"Well today since its your first day the pricncapal told me its required that you be shown around the school it's pretty big"

"Mom, oh you know I hate being singled out. Me following someperson around will surely do that." I said in a stressed tone going to a prep school is one thing going with snobs is another but I can't be singled out like I'm some sort of new kid.

"Honey, his name is," she said searching a cabinet pickin up a sticky note "Cameron Boyce"

"Okayyyyy I need to get going its already 8:20 and class starts at 9:00" I said giving my mom a hug and grabbing some bacon leaving out.

I realize I left my keys and book bag in the house, I quickly run back inside and grab the items.

The school is right around the corner and the walk is short. Like my mom said this school is huge it looks like five castles put together.

As soon as I walked into the school the bell rang so I walked into the office.

I guess I was running because I bumed into this really cute boy with chocolate brown hair and freckles. We both fell to the floor and all of my books fell out of my book bag.

"Hi you must be Amani Parker I'm-" I cut him off

"Cameron Boyce" my cheeks flushed

"It seems like we know each other for years" he said letting a small chuckle.

We were in and ackward position and I fell on top of him sort of pining him down.

"Uhh I think I should stand up now..." I said my cheeks probably turning a darker shade of red

"Um yea mabey before Miss.Janet the secretary comes out and sees us like this"

I quickly stand up brushing off my skirt and helping up Cameron.

"Oops I must have loosened the knot on your tie when I fell on you." I said pointing to it on the floor

"Dang it! You know how long it took me to fix this thing? My mom had to do it for me!" He yelled with a smile

"Don't worry I know how to fix it my dad taught me" I said picking the tie up

I lifted up his collar wrapping the tie around his neck. He was so warm and he smells like twilizzers and baby powder, I love it. I flipped the short end over the long end and looked up into his eyes and we were the only two people in the room.

"And that's how ya do it" I said with a sweet smile

"Thanks, look at us it's your first day and your already dressing me." He said putting his blazer back on.

"Well shall I show you around Miss.Parker?" He asked holding his arm out for me to loop mine in.

"You shall Mr.Boyce"
