"Ahhhhhhhh omg omg omg" She said while jumping up-and-down frantically

"Hey what's the big deal it's just Stix?" I said wanting to know the answer

" Amani come on we're talking about Stix head of the football team winner of the championships the hottest guy in school, I've liked him since the first grade!"

"Wow so you're trying to tell me that he's like you since the first grade and you liked him since the first grade and neither one of you guys ever did anything about it what type of school is this?"I asked

"What he has liked me since the first grade I thought it was just me I thought I could never get a guy like that!" She announced

"Well apparently you could you are very pretty why havent you guys just went out?"

"Thanks and I wonder what he's going to say when I ask him tomorrow I don't know if I should tell him that I like him..." She said in confusion

"Girl you better tell him this is what got you in this mess in the first place you waited

over five years to tell each other that you like eachother!"

"Yeah you're right hey you want to play a game of tablehockey it's almost time to go anyway?"

She asked

"Wait a minute we can actually use this stuff in that case I'm going to get me a bag of chips!" I said giggling walking over to the vending machine I also get my self a bottle of powerade.

Me and Melanie play table hockey until the loud intercom comes on.

"Okay delinquents your free to go Parker I will see you same time tomorrow. James I don't want to see you here again got it? Good!" Mr.Carr said over the intercom

"Hey you need a ride home?" She offers

"Oh, no thank you I drove myself today."I said and she walked away with a wave to the east parking lot

The drive home was short of course it was what I expected I only lived around the corner from Ashner. When I get home I stop in the kitchen and tell my mom were having two more for dinner an she seems happy that I have made some friends.

"Formal?" She asked

"Um yea I guess" I responded as I ran up the stairs to my room.

I pulled out my phone and texted Cameron.

**A**-hey dinner tonight is formal and remember its at seven

**C**- okay babe see you at seven

**A**-Babe?

**C**-yea cuz your a babe

**A**-Your so cheesy bye Cameron have to get ready already 6

I ran into the bathroom, took a quick shower and washed my hair.

I sat on the bench in my room and dried my hair putting it in a messy bun. I applied some mascara eye liner lip gloss and eye shadow. I had to find the right dress.

I rushed over to my closest turning to check the time on my clock 6:34pm. "I better hurry" I said to my self. I foun the perfect black dress matching my smokey black eyeshadow. It was strapless sparkly at top to-to ish at the bottom I slipped into the dress feeling satisfied.

I pick out a pair of silver hoop earrings and black pumps.

I looked over at the clock 6:57pm. I carefully walked down stairs standing in front of the door awaiting Cameron's arrival. I pull out my phone it's 7:01pm I text Cameron.
