After Asriel, Chara and Espeon's time outside, they decided to head back inside.
"It's spitting to rain now, you may want to head home before it starts pouring down" Toriel smiled to the young Evalion, Espeon smiled back and began her decent down the stairs leading to the exit to the ruins.
Umm, Espeon..." Asriel smile nervously as he looked her in the eyes, his emerald eyes reflected guilt and shame.
"What's the matter?" She asked as Asriel gripped her hand and pulled her down the stairs, surprising her a little. "Azzie!"
"They's something I need to tell you... Chara told me not to, but I feel like you should know, just promise you won't tell mom and dad" Asriel told her, he was confused by this sudden serious moment from Asriel.
"Asriel... What's going on-" Espeon was cut of before she could finish "just promise!" He raised his voice, scaring the young girl, but she nodded anyway.
"What happened to Dad... Chara and I did it on purpose..." He admitted to the girl, making her eyes widen in disbelief.
"B-but why?! Why would you-" Asriel cut her off once again.
"To rest how lethal the buttercups were, Chara and I know it's wrong to do this to my dad, but..." he continued as he walked closer to Espeon. "Were going to set all the monsters free!"
"What?! But how are you going to do that?" Espeon asked him, but before Asriel spoke, the sound of footsteps stopped in his tracks.
"Come back upstairs Asriel, mom's getting dinner ready" he called to the goat boy.
"O-oh right... Okay I'm coming!"Asriel called out as he said his goodbyes to Espeon and ran up the stairs before she could stop him.
*some time later*
Espeon had gotten wet from the rain on the way back, so she decided to take a relaxing bath.
Turning on the faucet, she stripped herself from her clothes before soaking into the warm water, turning off the faucet once her body was under the water.
What did he mean by 'free all monsters'? And how could they possibly do that?
Millions of thought had crossed through her mind as she tried to figure out what he meant by what he said.
Unless... No, that's crazy...
She shook herself from her thoughts as she got out, pulling out the bath plug and drying herself with a towel.
After Espeon got dressed in her purple night gown, she snuggled into her blankets and turned off the lamp beside her.
Surely they aren't going to do anything reckless... I can't worry too much...
But when he told me, he looked... Worried, maybe even afraid.
Although not completely reassured, she closed her eyes and managed to go to sleep.
