Chapter 7 Rewritten

Grace's POV

"Are you?" I start to ask and she nods her head. I bow mine to her. "Great wolf Aniu, I need your help" I tell her.

"No you don't" she states and I look up at her confused. "You know in your heart who you truly love, I can only guide you" she explains. "Come look into the mirror" she tells me and I walk over. (Bird bath: https://lotro-wiki.com/images/thumb/d/d1/Galadriel%27s_Garden.jpg/250px-Galadriel%27s_Garden.jpg) I look from her to the bird bath and then look into the crystal clear water.

I see a happy life if I were to choose Quinten, we'd adopt and rescue several supernatural children. But Adrian is left alone and falls into despair. He commits suicide, which I don't understand. Where's his second chance mate?

I then see another future where I choose Adrian. Quinten becomes revengeful and there was a young human woman offered to him. He turned her and lead an army against us. A war begins between werewolves and vampires. Adrian dies and as does the woman, trying to save him. While Quinten and I have a stand off as I pull away from the mirror.

"I don't understand" I say looking up at Aniu.

"Listen to your heart, what does it tell you?" Aniu asks.

"That the woman needs my help and can help me see the truth. And stop the war" I state after thinking.

"Then you must find her" she states and gives me a crystal necklace. (Necklace: http://jolingroup.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/03/Glow-in-the-dark-necklaces.jpg)  "This will show you the way, but know you can't do this alone. You'll need the help of a vampire and a witch" she explains.

"I'll take Quinten" I tell her.

"No, Adrian and Quinten cannot help you. Another must help you, the necklace will guide you to them both. Then to the young woman" she tells me. "Now go, you must leave before the others wake up and notice. You have until your birthday to find and save the girl. Know that a force will try to stop you, he is called The Master and has a powerful witch on his side" she explains.

I wake up in Quinten's room and go to mine. I pack a small bag and write a quick note to my parents. Before climbing out the window and take off into the forest. I feel drawn to my house as I leave Adrian's territory. So run through the mine field and head to my family's home.

When I enter the house I feel an other's presence and take a deep breath. It was coming from the lounge and I head there. To see a vampire looking at my family photo. "Who are you? Why are you in my family's home?" I ask him.

"The name is Nava, I'm looking for Quinten" he states.

"He's not here, so leave" I tell him.

"I came to warn him" he says.

"About what?" I ask.

"The vampires are forming an army they want him to lead. As he is rightful king, being the strongest vampire. Someone called the Master has a human sacrifice waiting for him" he explains.

"That must be the young woman, take me to her" I tell him.

"No can do wolf, it's against the law to help a werewolf" he states.

"But I need to save that woman, she can help me decide on my future. Stop the approaching war" I tell him. "You said you came to warn Quinten, why?" I ask.

"He's my best mate and has gone so long without human blood. It'd drive him pretty much insane if he drank it. I don't want that to happen" he explains.

"Then help me free her and we can save Quinten. As well as stop the war" I tell him. Nava looks thoughtful as I hold a hand out. "Do we have a deal?" I ask him.

"Deal, but we must leave now" he states shaking my hand.

"Then lead the way" I tell him and he does so. He leads me in the opposite direction of the pack and my family. Telling me we should be there tomorrow if we travel all night. So that's what we do. Hopefully we'll meet the witch along the way.

(Hidden palace) third person

"She's on her way here to try and free the human" the witch states.

"Send your assistant, she can handle a runt wolf. Ensure she has the runt drink this potion" the master instructs handing her a potion. "But keep an eye on her, she's been asking questions" he adds. The Witch bows before going to find her assistant.

(The night before Adrian's pack house) third person

"Why do you smell of Grace?" Adrian asks Quinten growling at him.

"Because I was just with her duh, and we hugged. She isn't feeling like coming to the BBQ and is taking a nap" he states.

"I swear if you have hurt her" Adrian says growling.

"He'd never hurt her" Sarah states appearing from thin air. "But neither is Grace here, she's gone on a journey. She'll return on her birthday with her decision" she tells the boys. "Quinten we're going home" she adds and he follows her. Adrian was sad to hear his little mate had left his territory. But why didn't he feel her leaving?
