Evelyn POV:

We sat down in the park and started to put the cards on the table

"So let me get this straight, This thing is coming out every 27 years to eat kids for a year and then what? Goes to hibernation?" Richie asked

"Maybe it's those bugs... Cicadas? They're are coming out every 17 years" He said, I sighed

"I wish you were right Stan, But that thing is coming out every 27 years, not 17, and Cicadas eat vegtables, especially tomatos" I told him, Everyone looked at me with a quistioning look

"What? I did a project on those things" I said

"My grandfather believes this town is cursed by something that can changed itself into everything we fear" Mike said

"Your grandfater is not wrong about this one" I said quietly

"I saw him as a leper, It was horrible, It was like a walking infection" Eddie said

"It felt so real-"

"But it wasn't real, None of this is: Not the leper, Not Bill seeing Georgie or Bev's blood or me seeing this woman" Stan said, trying to deny the truth

"Is she hot?" Richie asked, Oh my gomez, This kid has no shame!

"No Richie! She's not hot! Her face are all messed up... It feels like a bad dream" Stan broke down

"I don't think so, I know when it's a bad dream and when it's real life" Mike said

"You saw something too?" Eddie asked

"Yeah..." Mike started to explain but I zoned out...

Bev got attacked by the blood when I was around... I saw Mike's fear as well...

"Evelyn?" I looked up to see Mike looking at me.

"What?" I asked

"Girl, I conffessed I'm afraid of clowns, What are you afraid of?" Richie asked, I sighed and pulled something from my pocket, handing it to Mike

"This is..." I said quietly

Mike POV:

It was a dog's collar, On the collar was carved the name: Shepherd.

"My dad is a cop... When I was 10, He brought a shepherd police dog to our house, The dog was injured and we took care of him... soon he became my best friend, We did everything together, Even after he got better, Dad decided he'll be our family dog as well..."

"But then, One day... Shepherd was gone.... We searched for him everywhere but we never found him... A few months later I played hide and seek with my parents... and I hid behind a bush" I noticed the Evelyn started to tear up.

"Behind that bush... lay Shepherd... dead.... parts of his skeleton were visible and he was totally bloody" She started to sob

"I don't remember what happened... I just remembered that mom and dad took me away and never buried Shepherd, Like he was never there... When I came back his body was gone and I only found his collar..." We looked at her, waiting for her to keep going

"I see It in the shape of Shepherd's corpse, angry at me because I never came to help him on time..." I put a hand over her shoulder and hugged her close.

I helped Evelyn to take down the garage's door

"Let's hope Bill's idea will work" She said as she got a seat next to me
