Chapter 13: Miku's Resolve

A/N: This is a little side story on why she's behaving like that. Miku's role in this story is to not be a bitch and go around stealing people's crushes or breaking up people but she's supposed to bring Y/n and Len together. This is to clear any misunderstandings.

"Miku! It's time to go!" I hear a familiar voice calling me from afar.

"Oh, Y/n, wait a while!" I replied back smiling at her.

Y/n and I had agreed to study together, just the two of us. She wanted to help me with English, my most dreaded subject. After packing my items, I ran towards her direction. She looked down towards me as I was short and she smiles. After that, we walked to the nearest cafe by the school.

When we reached the cafe, many people were looking at us and some were even glaring at Y/n. I felt annoyed because she's friends with us, she doesn't need any glares and such. It's just fate that brought her to us.

"Don't mind them, Miku." She looked at me and brushed it aside. She must have noticed my annoyed face.

I nodded at her and drag her hand to where I want to sit at. She sat down and smiled once more. I looked at her and thought, she was always smiling, always looking cheerful. She was also looking beautiful yet why hasn't any guys tried to go for her yet? I stared at her for a while until she tilted her head in confusion. I blushed slightly and looked away. I've always admired her and looked up to her. As a friend, I really treasure her. We ordered some drinks and snacks and then we started on my studies. After a while, we got tired and I looked at the time. It was already 9pm and we still have an hour left. We decided to rest for a bit.

"Y/n, don't you have any crushes?" I asked while sipping my glass. She choked all of a sudden and looked at me. She looked nervous.

"Y-Yes, w-why did you ask?" She replied, looking scared.

"Why do you look like that? Don't worry, I'll not expose you." I reassured her. She looked at me for a moment.

"So who is it?"

"W-Well, it is... L-Len..." She said as she looked down in embarrassment and she blushed beet red.

"Wow! I see, I see!" I said, amused by her reply. She looked at me and suddenly looked serious.

"Miku.."

"Yes?"

"Let's continue with our studies."

"Aww, what a joy killer!" I pouted and she laughed.

But all in my thoughts, I was more than ready to help her. Looking at her, I would have known she would have told Rin about this. I'll have to talk to Rin after school the next day.

The next day, as soon as school ended. I approached Rin. She looked quite confused because I was looking so serious.

"Rin, I need you to follow me somewhere, let's go to the cafe alright?" I invited her out. She only nodded.

As soon as we reached the cafe, we chose a seat. Throughout the whole journey there, we didn't say anything when usually we would but this time it'll be serious.
