In Berk

Eagle P.O.V.
He felt himself stir, light flooding his sight as he opened his eyes. Questions flooded his mind as he tried to remember something, aything really!
Where am I? Why can't I remember anything?
These questions came to a brief halt as he noticed someone was looking at him. His eyes adjusted to see the person more clearly. When he was able to see better, he noticed how beautiful the girl was.
The girl jumped back when she noticed he was awake.

"Hi there." He said, sitting up.
"Don't get up, you are still recovering." She said, pushing him back down.
"Thanks for the concern, but really, I'm fine." He said.
She huffed in annoyance.
"What's your name, stranger?" She asked him.
He stared at her for a second, lost in those ocean-blue eyes.

"Um... Eagle. My name is Eagle." He said, remembering his name.
The girl held out her hand.
"My name is Astrid. Astrid Hofferson." She said.
"Pretty name." Eagle said, then realised he had said it out loud.
Astrid blushed.
"Thanks." Astrid replied.
"So, umm... where am I exactly?" Eagle asked.
"Oh, you're on Berk. We found you in a shipwreck after a major storm." Astrid said.
Eagle tried to remember anything about that, but nothing came to mind.
"I don't remember... well anything. Especially a shipwreck and a big storm." Eagle said.
He honestly didn't remember anything except his name.
Astrid looked him over, expecting to see some kind of fidget to show he's lying, but she saw nothing.
"I'll take your word for it. The Chief will be another problem though." Astrid said.
Eagle nodded.

Some hours later ; Great Hall

"So, you have no recollection of your origins. Where you come from and why you are here is a mystery to even you?" Stoick asked once again.
Eagle was starting to get impatient with these people.
"Yes." He said, straining not to punch the Chief.
"Very well. We will allow you to stay here until we find your home tribe." Stoick said
"Thank you." Eagle said happily.
The Chief turned to Astrid.
"Show him 'round the village." He said.
Astrid nodded, and walked over to Eagle.
"Come on." She said.
Eagle got up and followed her outside, listening closely as she showed him where and what everything is.

Astrid P.O.V.
After they finished the tour around the village, the gang walked up to them.
"So Astrid, this is the newcomer?" Ruffnut asked, looking Eagle over.
"That's him." Astrid said.
"Doesn't look to tough." Snotloud sneered out, making sure Eagle heard him.
Eagle spun around to face Snotloud, and the two had a staredown.
"They're going to fight." Fishlegs whispered to Astrid.
She rolled her eyes, of course they would fight.
Eagle crouched into a battle stance, while Snotloud readied his fists.
"Bring it!" Snotloud yelled, attracting the attention of some other villagers. Any who heard moved over, interested to see how tough the newcomer was.
Eagle stood his ground, not moving an inch. So Snotloud ran at him. Eagle grinned a devilish grin as he waited for the attack. Snotloud tried to pummel him with his bare fists.
Saying Astrid was impressed would be an understatement.
Eagle grabbed Snotloud and forced him to a complete halt, surprising everyone. Then Eagle punched him so hard that Snotloud fell backwards. Eagle took a few steps back, and then rushed at Snotloud, jumped up and kneed him in the chest, and beat him until he passed out.

Eagle P.O.V.
Everyone stared. Eagle looked around, realizing he had just beat someone he didn't even know. The small group of watchers started to whisper, amazement in their voices.
Eagle saw Astrid start smiling.
"It takes courage to stand up to someone like Snotloud, and it takes a lot of power to beat Snotloud until he passes out." Astrid said, letting the amazement fill her voice.
"Welcome to life on Berk."

Somewhere Else.

Hiccup P.O.V.
Well, it couldn't get to much worse. Turns out that there are people on the island. They called themselves, ' The Defenders of The Wing.' And right now Hiccup was being held in a prison cell for no reason he understood. He could hear the people yelling at the dragons to go away, but they were constantly refusing.

Dragon's P.O.V.
"Out of my way! Stupid humans!" Toothless roared in anger.
The humans had captured Hiccup, and he was determined to rescue him. He guessed the other dragons were doing the same, as he could hear their roars of anger. Toothless could see humans go into the air when the Nightmare roared out.

Hiccup P.O.V.
"So tell me, what did you plan on doing when you landed on my island?" The lead women asked Hiccup.
"I swear, me and my friends were just looking for a place to stay!" Hiccup said.
"You consider the dragons you captured and controlled to be your friends!" The women yelled in fury.
"I didn't capture or control them! They follow me of their own free will!" Hiccup yelled, upset that this women couldn't make the simple connection.
Suddenly there was a loud roar from outside.
"Now you did it." Hiccup said.
The wall exploded, shrapnel flying in all directions.
Hiccup didn't even need to look to know who it was. The women took a step back as Toothless walked in, growling at any who came near. Hiccup felt his binds cut lose.
"Thanks buddy." Hiccup said.
Toothless growled even louder as the women approached them.
"Dragon, why do you help your capturer? You could have flown away by now." She asked.
"For something you'll never understand about dragons." Hiccup said, climbing into the saddle on Toothless' back.
"It's called friendship."
And the two flew out, with the other dragons quickly following after them.
