"You ready?" Camicazi asked Eagle.
"Definitely." Came Eagle's simple reply.
"Ready for what?" Another voice said.
Both of them jumped backwards, hitting the person. When they saw who it was, they grinned like nothing had been going on.
"What do you mean, Astrid?" Eagle asked, faking innocence.
He didn't want Astrid mad at Camicazi, mostly because they had a very fragile alliance of ' You don't fight me, I don't fight you.'
"You two are up to something, and it's not good." Astrid said plainly.
"And why would you think that?" Cami asked, mad that they were being stalled.
"Because you are crouched in a corner, whispering to each other, and right next to a large supply of valuables." Astrid replied, twirling her axe threateningly.
"Buzz off, this is between us!" Cami growled out.
"I could just tell Bertha and Stoick what you're doing, I'm sure they would be delighted!" Astrid growled back.
Eagle grabbed them by their necks, and twisted, causing both of them to grab his hands.
"I think you both need to go back to the guest houses." Eagle said, throwing them both aside.
"So what, the plan was for nothing?!" Cami said, confused and angry.
"If you had brains, you would know that he moves better alone." Astrid said, flicking Cami's ear.
Of course, that made Cami mad, and two started fighting.

Eagle sighed as he watched the mess, but it attracted the guards attention, and he snuck in.
"Now which crate is my great prize in?" Eagle asked.
He opened the first one he saw.
"Copper." He sighed.
The next one.
"What the heck?" He mumbled.
There were two fine, glowing swords. He grabbed them, and they stopped glowing, showing some small, intricate designes. He took out his swords, and hit the new ones against them.
His sword was cut in half, and he knew he had just found a great treasure. He put the new swords on his belt, and put his old ones in the box.
"Still need the iron." He said to himself.

The girls got pulled away from each other, and dragged to the guest houses, making sure they were kept under watch.
The guards went back to guarding the loot, just missing the figure ducking behind another building.

Camicazi P.O.V.
She couldn't believe Eagle would ditch her like that, but something the blonde girl said had ticked her off to no end.
' If you had brains, you would know that he moves better alone.'
That insult hurt her in two ways, saying she was stupid was a death-wish, and saying she didn't know her own best friend was very cruel. Sure, she called Eagle her sparring buddy, but they were also close friends.
She sighed sadly, they could only be friends. Her mother had made it clear that she would only marry someone of a high-up status, which was her way of saying, Not that boy.
Cami wanted to be more than just friends with Eagle, but society demanded otherwise.
"What if, no no! That's a stupid idea. But if it worked? Then... maybe." She pondered her new idea, not noticing the person in the window, right beside her.

"Maybe what?"
She jumped up, drawing her sword.
"Calm down!" Eagle said, holding his hands up.
Cami fell back onto the bed.
"You scared me!" She said, holding her hand over her heart.
"Sorry 'bout that. But hey, I got the iron." He said, tapping his pockets.
"What... But how?" She asked.
"Two girls fighting and screaming is hard to miss." He said, smirking.
"You could have made it easier for me." She said, blushing.
"Maybe. So, what were you thinking about?" He asked, sitting down next to her.
"Just... I don't know if I want to be Chieftess when my mom steps down from power." She said, grabbing a coin from her pocket, and flipping it.
"You would be known across the Archipelago. Camicazi the Courageous Chieftess!" Eagle declared, waving his hands in a proud manner.
"Sounds better then it would actually be." Cami muttered, flipping the coin some more.
Eagle quickly looked at the door, and Cami listened.
Thunk, thunk, thunk
Someone was getting wary of the sudden silence.
Both teens ran into the hall, faster then the spy, and saw the person dissapear from the corner.
"Cut them off!" Cami said, as both started perusing.
Eagle went one way, while Cami went the other. She saw a dash of black hair as she ran. Finally they stopped, and she saw the spy's face.
"Snotloud?" Cami asked.
He held his hands up, and she saw Eagle on the other side.
"Why were you spying on us?" She asked.
"Astrid told me you were stealing from our ships." Snotloud said, pointing at Cami.
"How would I have been stealing, when I was talking with Eagle?" It wasn't a question she wanted answered.
"And besides, I like taking from my own tribe more." She said.
Snotloud seemed to ponder this.
"It doesn't matter, get out of here." Eagle growled.
"And if you decide to make up a lie for Astrid, you'll find yourself on my swords edge." Eagle said, chuckling like he made a good joke.
Snotloud ran out as fast as he could, probably terrified.
The two smiled.
"I have to go check on Astrid, make she's okay." Eagle said.
Cami nodded, doubt filling her heart. If only she could tell him. She guessed that he would find someone else in time, and that whoever he found would make him happy.
"It's not meant to ever be, I guess." She whispered when she closed her door.

Astrid P.O.V.
Cami had been vicious in the fight, leaving Astrid with some scratches. Astrid did come away confused though, why was Cami calm until she brought up Eagle. There was a rumor in Berk, that Astrid and Eagle were in love with each other. And Astrid knew about it. In a way, she liked the rumor, as people knew she was powerful, and so was Eagle. But Astrid had never told Eagle, not even when she wanted to.

Knock, knock
"Come in." Astrid called.
Eagle walked in.
"Hey there, you okay?" He asked, standing by the door.
"I'm fine. No thanks to Camicazi." She spat.
"If you two would stop fighting, you could get along." Eagle said, walking over to her.
"If she would stop being such a pest, maybe." Astrid said, knowing Cami would never change.
"I swear, you two are more similar then different." Eagle said, shaking his head.
Astrid stared at him, anger welling up.
"Are you calling me a pest?!" She yelled.
"No, you are both really stubborn though." Eagle said, holding his hands up.
Astrid blushed. Luckily he didn't see it. Why was she suddenly feeling weird around him, they had known each other for ten years!
"I guess we are pretty stubborn." Astrid said.
After a short silence, Eagle spoke up.
"You feeling okay?" He asked, moving to sit next to her.
"I'm fine. Just a bit tired." She replied, moving away from him.
She blushed a bit more.
"You can go now." She dismissed him.
Eagle nodded.
"See you tomorrow." He said.
"See you then." She replied.

Eagle P.O.V.
He went back to Camicazi's room, to say goodnight. But she wasn't there. He looked around, and spotted a single piece of paper. He picked it up and read it.
"Dear Reader,
For whoever finds this note, I have already left, and you have no chance of finding me. If you are wondering why I left, let me put it simply. My mother forbade me from being with the person I loved, so I ran away. I did not tell him about this, though, in hopes that I could spare him the trouble of being a runaway with me. I do not know where I am headed, just that it will be away from this life, and hopefully toward a better one.
Former Heir of the Bog Burgler tribe,
Camicazi.

Eagle set the note down, and jumped up. Activating his special vision, he saw her footprints leading towards her window. He hopped out, and started on the trail.

A bit into the walk, he was in the forest, and came across a dead wolf.
"She's definitely not in the mood for an inturruption." Eagle said.
He decided to quickly skin the wolf, he could find a use later.
"EAGLE!" Came a loud scream.
He knew that voice.
"CAMICAZI!" He yelled, terror filling his heart.
He heard her scream even more, and ran as fast as he could, jumping over any fallen trees in his way.

He finally arrived in a small ditch, where he saw her, and a man with a mask, who had her at sword point. He examined her, and noticed she had cuts all over her body. He snuck around behind the man, who hadn't noticed him yet.
"Where is your friend now, silly girl?" The man said.
Eagle could tell it wasn't the Edge tribe Chief, but the mask designes were similar.
"Please." She begged.
Eagle stabbed the man with his wrist blades, and then drew his swords. The man flipped around, the newly acquired wound pouring blood.
"Not that easy!" He yelled, and a blinding light filled Eagle's eyes.

When he could see again, he saw Cami laying on the ground, and the mad-man was gone.
"Camicazi, you alright?" He asked, picking her up.
"I don't know, everything looks different." She replied weakly.
"How does it look different?" Eagle asked, carrying her to a nearby tree, where he started patching her up.
"Like, the trees are black, the grass is light blue, and the moon is green." Eagle had her describe some more, until he finished.
"That man, he made me drink something. It burned really bad, but then felt good." She said sleepily.
Eagle froze. He knew that description. After all, he had once drank a poison that did the same thing.
"Cami, look at me!" He said urgently.
Her eyes fluttered open.
"Don't fall asleep, okay! Just don't fall asleep. I'm going to go get some help, alright?" He said frantically.
The poison clouded the mind, but she seemed to understand.
Eagle ran quickly, finding the necessary herbs for the cure. He knew that she would likely reject it, but she would have to drink it anyways.
"I'm back!" He announced.
He quickly rushed up to her, mashing the herbs together. He gently shook her, and she moved.
"What is it now?" She asked.
"Are you thirsty?" He asked.
"Yes." She replied.
"Here, have this. It's good for you." He muttered, handing her the bowl.
She drank the entire thing at once.
"Can I sleep now? I'm really, really tired." She said, sounding more tired.
"Yes." He replied.
She started snoring moments later.

Eagle carried her back, and put her in her room. He decided to stay nearby just in case. But the night stayed silent, and Eagle was content, knowing his friends were safe.
Well, at least he hoped so.
