"Thank you so much for this." I said to Brian, "I feel bad, you're so nice to me, yet I hardly do anything in return.". My eyes drifted to my feet. We were standing at the door way. We'd eaten, I was extremely grateful. It's been a long time since anyone had been this nice to me.

"Hey, don't worry about it. You're just one of those people I want to spend time with!" He said, a smile spreading across his face.

"That just makes me even more grateful." I kept looking at my shoes, my face was hotter than an oven and redder than red. That definitely makes sense. Don't question me.

I felt a warmth snake around my waist, and I was being pulled in by something.

Oh.

Oh damn.

Brian was hugging me.

JESUS I NEED TO HUG BACK OR IT WILL BE AWKWARD AAAAHHHH!

I let my hands wrap back around him. My face was probably redder than humanly possible. I'm not sure if this is normal, but at this point I felt extremely grateful. Someone was actually being nice to me and caring about me.

3rd person pov

"I should probably  go now." Brian said pulling away.

Truth be told he wanted to stay there with Y/n. He just thought he was embarrassing himself, although he wasn't exactly sure how. He thought you might suspect his feelings.

Also he would never hear the end of it from Jae, if of course he found out. Jae would tease him playfully about it. Not that Brian would mind that.

"See you soon!" Y/n said in an undeniably happy tone. Brian smiled at her waved as he left.

He smiled as he walked into his own place.

"How was your girlfriend?" Jae asked, his cheeks looking as if they were waiting to explode from the laughter rising in him.

A wave of embarrassment washed over Brian, along with that came the redness that set across his cheeks.

"She's not my girlfriend." Brian said firmly.

"Yet." Jae said "Dude you're so red."

"No I'm not. Shut up." Brian defended, even though he knew what Jae had said was probably true.

"Wait, you're not denying you like her." Jae said trying to get Brian to tell him.

"Ok. I like her. Are you happy now?" Brian asked, he wasn't angry at Jae, maybe just a little frustrated.

"Yup. Very happy." Jae replied, sinking back down into the couch.

At this point Brian had become somewhat suspicious of the other boy.

"What are you going to do?" Brian asked as he sat on the couch.

"None of your concern." Jae responded cheekily.

"You don't even know if Y/n likes me." Brian said to Jae, now having some idea of what he was thinking.

"I don't need to." Jae said.

Matchmaker Jae had a plan.
