"What did you say?" My voice coming out as a whisper. Thomas face softened. "I love you" he said while walking closer to me. First, he kidnapped me and now few years later he said that he loved me? "But that doesn't change the fact that you kidnapped me" I said while folding my arms on my chest.
"I know , and I'm really sorry. I know sorry isn't enough and I will prove it to you how sorry I am. I've changed. I remember seeing you talking with a guy and you're flirting and that made me really upset I just can't let guys touch you" I shake my head. " that was my friend Thomas and he has a boyfriend. " I said and Thomas face changed to embarrassed.
" we laughed and we talked and spending time together. That's it." I said and Thomas head was hanging down and he nodded. " Thomas, look" thomas head slowly lifted up and he looked in my eyes. " I'm sorry but , ever since that accident, I can't remember you " His face is holding sadness. " I didint know what was going on, I don't know about you, I don't know if we kissed" I said while looking down.
I felt fingers grazing my chin and he lifted my head up to look at him. "That's fine, I understand. But let me show you how I can be yours all over again. I'm willing to do that if that's what it takes cause I do love you and I mean it. I can't loose you now. I know it's really weird to say this considering that you don't believe me. " Thomas said and I gently smiled at him causing him to smiled back at me.
He should smile often cause he looks really cute. " I guess we could be friends for now and I'll see how it goes" I said looking down shyly. I heard Thomas chuckled. " alright. I'm willing to do anything for you" Thomas said while looking down at me and I smiled shyly.

Narrators POV
Few years later
Thomas and you were closer now. You two had fun enjoying each other company. You guys are really close friends best friends to be exact and he was right. He did show it to you that he has changed into a better person. You felt more connected to someone that you hadn't felt before.
Whenever you and Thomas went out, he always make sure that you're safe. It warmed your heart knowing that he really liked you and wants to be with you. He always find excuses to simply touch your skin and it made you laugh at how playful it was and yet serious at the same time.
One day you decided to tell him that you wanted more. You realised that you loved him ever since he proved it to you. He is protective around you, loves to kiss you on the cheek cause he knows that it's inappropriate to kiss you on the lips since you guys haven't started dating yet. But now things change and you wanted to tell him that you loved him.
When he first heard it, he can't believe what you had said. He decided to teased you again by making you repeating the 3 words. " say that again" Thomas smiled at you. "I love you" you said while smiling brightly. He hugged you and was smiling so big that his smile might hurt his cheeks.
He sealed it with a kiss to remember. You and him couldn't be more happier. Even what had happened in the past, you were lucky not because of what he did but because that faith bought you back together. All those loving memories that you two shared , you will keep it forever.
