"Hey! stop cheating! Thomas laughed while nudging his elbow on my sides. I giggled. Right now Thomas and I are playing 'mario kart'. Our fingers kept on pressing multiple times on the buttons. Holding the controller in our hands.
We actually kinda made a bet. Well it started of like this.
flashback few minutes ago
I unlocked the front door to our shared house. I opened the door and i sighed loudly. I have so many things to do. I placed my things on the counter and went outside again to carry all of the heavy boxes. I went inside the house again.
"Hey babe can you lend me a hand please?" I called out. Carrying so many heavy boxes in my hands. "I'm coming!" Thomas yelled. Once he came towards me I think. Since the boxes are towering over me and I can't seem to see anything, he took some and it felt more lighter. "phew" "Where do you want these to put?" "on the kitchen counter would be nice" I said.
"sure " Thomas said. I followed him and we put the boxes on top of the kitchen table. "Thank you babe" I said. "No problem Y/N" he leaned down and kissed me. "So how was work?" he said. I went to lock the door and said" it's so hectic. I have so many things to do" I groaned.
I walked in the living room and to find Thomas sitting on the couch playing his xbox. Thomas laughed "is there anything that I can help you with?" he said sweetly. I smiled at him "it's okay I can do it just by myself" I went to sit down on the couch with him and lay my head on his chest while his arms are wrapped around my waist.
" having fun?" I said while closing my eyes to relax in his chest. Thomas pulled me closer and said"not really, single player is boring" few seconds later there's a silence filling in the room. Then I heard a voice " wanna join me?"
Thomas asked. "no it's okay" "c'mon babe please" he whined " no" I said firmly. " and why's that?" he asked futher. I sighed " because I have work to do" I said. I stood up from the couch heading to the bathroom to take a shower but an arm pulled me back down on the couch.
I gasp. Thomas flipped me on the couch and he was hovering over me. He leans in" Cmon please just one time" I looked into his eyes. Well, I cant say no to that. " fine." I playfully rolled my eyes and he let out a very loud 'yes'.
He quickly peck my lips and went to the tv area to grab me a controller. I sat up on the couch and soon Thomas joined me. He went to set everything up in the game to restart the racing match. "wait."he said.
I narrowed my eyes. "what?" " We should make a bet" he suddenly said out of nowhere." wait what? "why should w-" i got cut of."because it will be more interesting." I gave him a confused look. "like how?"
"the winner gets to do anything they want with their partner" I gave him slow nod" and the loser have to say yes when the winner wants them to do something" I smiled "sounds okay" I said. "great!"
once we had settled everything in the game we gave each other a competitive look. "ready babe?" "ready as i'll ever be" I took the controller in my hand and and we heard a countdown in the game. Once the game started , I quickly pressed on the button multiple times and move my elbow to the sides to tickle Thomas.
and that's how it started.
I kept on pushing my kart to the side and Thomas said a "hheeeyyyy!" I just laughed and continue to play. I can't help but to look at him. He looks so cute when he's being competitive. Then there's a loud voice that broke me out of my trance.
"YES!" I blinked and look at the tv screen. Well, he won. I place the controller down sighing in defeat. I chuckled when I looked up at him happily doing his victory dance moves. "Woohoo i won!" He screamed.
I playfully hold my ears blocking it from his loud voice " Thomas don't be so loud" I said. He just chuckles and lifts me up from the couch. He hold my waist and pulls me closer. His breath is hitting my face. Our lips are only inches apart.
"well love, looks like I won" I rolled my eyes while smiling at him he pecked my lips multiple times" I know" I lifted my arms to put around his neck. "so what am I supposed to do now your highness?" Thomas laughed. "you could massage my back?" I chuckled " sure if that's what you want"
