We were all by the river. We just finished building our temporary tents. We couldn't find anything to build with except for wood sticks and leafs. I was sat next to the tent with Teresa. The guys are catching fish for our dinner. The fire is already lightened up by Teresa and I. The guys made a wood sticks for the fishing rode.
Teresa and I just looked at the guys. Until I decided to break the silence. " How are you feeling?" I asked while I turned around and patted her shoulders. Teresa turn to looked at me and she smile slightly. " I'm good. Just feel overwhelmed you know?" She said. I nodded. " I wonder what WCKD is going to do with DNA. It kind of scares me what they're going to do with it" Teresa said while she looked out the amazing view of the river.
" I get it. I know what you mean. You feel in a kind of way that it's odd and feel unsafe. Like you don't feel protected somehow" I said and she nodded. " yeah, that's what I'm feeling. You get me" She said while she chuckled. I smile at her. " I understand you Teresa." I said and she smiled at me. I smiled back.
" don't worry, we'll find out how to get out of this place. Like how I used to say it when we're in the maze." I paused causing her to laugh a little. " This could be their test too, they might be watching us right now" I finished while I shrugged my shoulders. " it could be" Teresa trailed off. " I heard that Minho is meeting someone" She said and I immediately smiled.
" your eavesdropping?" I asked curiously in a playful way. Teresa shrugged and smiled at me. " so tell me, who is it?"She asked softly while scooting closer to me. Preventing Minho to hear our conversations. I smiled. " well, it's a girl" I got cut off. " ooh a girl. tell me more" " She's a friend of mine. We met up in the WCKD building. I told her about Minho cause I thought that both of my friends are not seeing anyone so why not?" I said softly.
Teresa nodded and waited for me to finish my talking. "But now since we're out, I don't know if they'll ever meet. I wanted to set up a date for them but" I trailed off. "Have you told Minho?" Teresa asked
I looked at Minho to see him laughing while still catching fishes. Maybe Thomas and newt said something funny. " kind of." I said and looked back at Teresa. "So do you want to help me?" I asked. Teresa smiled brightly. " sure, thought you need help."
We got cut off by Thomas yelling. "We caught a fish!" The guys cheered and I smiled so is Teresa. " you girls want to try?" Newt asked while handing us the fishing rode. Both Teresa and I got up and took the fishing rode from Newt.
" I don't exactly know how to do this" I said out loud causing everyone to chuckle at me. I smile slowly and threw the string into the water and waited for the fish. "It's easy" Newt said and came closer to me.
I can feel his chest lightly bumping against my back and I can feel chills sending down my spine. His arms are around my arms guiding it on how to catch the fishes and went to pull it out when the fish got caught on the hook.
"There we go" he softly said next to my ear. He then place his arms around my waist and rested his head on my shoulder. I blushed. "I'll be here if you need any help " he said and I smile at him. "Thank you" I said and kiss his lips. He smiled into the kiss and so did I.
"Okay you guys need to stop. This is " Minho paused. "Weird " All of us chuckled at him. "Oh cmon Minho. Just because youre single doesn't mean you have to be like that. Or maybe one day you'll be like us?" Thomas said.
Minho shrugged. "Never. Going. To . Happen." I shook my head at him. We'll see about that.

The whole night we caught some fish and we cooked it by the fire. We just finished eating and now we're resting by the campfire. Newt had his arms wrapped around my shoulders. My head is resting on his chest.
Teresa and Thomas are cuddled together and Minho is asleep in his tent. There's only four of us awake. "Do you think we'll get to see the real world again?" Thomas asked out of nowhere. "What do you mean?" Teresa looked at Thomas.
"Like a real place. Real people. Real food. Real buildings. Cars and all that. You know?" Thomas looked at all of us. We nodded. "We'll just have to find the right way. There's clearly no sign on where we are right now. We're just in the middle of the jungle by the river. We even saw some zombies and that's horrifying" newt said.
"You know what? Tomorrow morning I say that we just get up and head straight to where we left off. We just keep on walking until we see a safe place to live or we could just walk until we find a hideout. I'm sure there's people in there." Teresa finished. "That's a good idea" I said agreeing.
Newt and Thomas nodded. "See, this is why I love you" Thomas said while smiling down at Teresa. Teresa laughed. "And further more" Thomas added. I smiled at the both of them. They looked so happy together. I suddenly felt a kiss on my cheek. I turned around and saw Newt starring at me lovingly.
"I think we should sleep, it's getting late" he said. "We should" I said. Newt leaned in and kissed my lips. I kissed back and few seconds later we both pulled away. "Come here" he said while extending his arms out for me. I happily went into his arms and he gave me a hug and a kiss on my forehead.
"I love you Y/N so much " he said while looking at me and smiling. I placed our foreheads together and smiled at him. "I love you too Newt" I kissed his lips one more time. Make sure that it lingers there for a few seconds and I pulled away. Both of us lie down on the grass and we slept into each other arms.
