I heard the birds chirping, and sounds of the dishes clanging from a far distance from the kitchen. What is that smell? It smell so delicious. I can hear my stomach rumbling. I slowly opened my eyes and sat up slowly.
I yawn and stretched my body. I still remember what happened last night but I still don't remember my name. That's weird. I got up from my spot . I looked around me to see there's still some people awake and some are still sleeping.
I head to the kitchen area to grab my food. I'm starving. Once I'm there, I noticed that there's a line. I sighed and went to line up. I can't wait anymore i'm so hungry. I should've eat something last night.
When I'm at the front, I heard Frypan said " good morning greenie! how did you sleep?" I looked at Frypan and gave him a smile. " it's alright"" so , um what do you have for today?" I added. " well, we have some mash potatoes, some bread and vegetables." hmm. There's not much choice.
" I think i'll go with mash potatoes and vegetables please" I said while giving him a friendly smile. " coming right up" Frypan said. Once he gave me my food, I walked to my hammock and sat down and eat.
I wonder where's Teresa. Maybe she's still asleep. When I was halfway through eating my food, I heard someone cleared their throat. I looked up at the person to see who was it and it was Newt. " I thought you might want some company" He said while giving me a slight smile.
I nodded and pat an empty spot next to me. He sat down and started to eat his food. It didint take long enough for him to notice something was on my mouth. " um love , you have a um something on your lips" I looked at him and he chuckled.
he took a napkin and use it to wipe my mouth. I looked into his eyes. I could get lost in them if I keep starring. " there you go" Newt said. I broke out of my thoughts and quickly swallow my food. " thanks" I said.
" no problem" " so how do you feel? like you're new to this kind of whole thing?" Newt asked. I shrugged. " I have no idea. I'm still getting use to it.I had a dream actually." Newt place his food down and looking at me intently waiting for me to go on. " I can't remember all of it but I had a dream something about..." "wicked" I got cut off by Newt.
I looked at him and narrowed my eyes. "how did you know?" Newt smiled and said. " well, everyone has that dream once. When they're stuck here and yeah." I looked away. " wicked is good" I said out loud.
Newt looked at me while furrowing his eyebrows. " wha- what do you mean?" he said. " wicked is good" I repeated. " Newt, this dream....this dream is about a lady who keeps on repeating about how wicked is good. " I turned my head to look at him again.
" that's kind of different from what we dreamt " Newt said. All of the sudden, we heard a loud scream. We both quickly turned our heads to look at that direction. We took off running to see what was going on.
The maze door was opened and there was nobody there. " hey are they here yet?" Newt asked someone. " no dude" said a voice. " what's going on?" I whispered. " Thomas and Minho. They went into the maze to try to find a way out for all of us" There, we were waiting for a very long time until we saw the door closing.
" no no no no" Newt said repeatedly. I panicked. what should I do? Cmon think. think. There's no other choice but to save them. I looked at everyone shouting for Thomas and Minho . This is the chance for me. I quickly pushed past people and run into the maze. " Greenie what are you doing?! come back!" I heard Newt yelled.
I looked back behind me to see Newt was running towards me. The doors was just closing inches away. Until we made it through the doors. We panted and we were only a few meters apart. Newt looked up at me. " what are you thinking?! look where you are now! youre going to get killed! It's not safe here! do you get me!" Newt was yelling and he walks towards me until my back was against the wall.
I felt tears brimming in my eyes. I saw Newt face quickly softened. " I just wanted to help" I said. My voice was shaky. " hey , hey its okay. sorry about that. I didint mean to yell at you. I was frustrated. I'm sorry. please don't cry love.I didint mean any of it. Im sorry " he said while hugging me tightly.
He move our body side to side while I bury my head into his chest. We stood there hugging each other for a moment until I pulled away. Newt looked into my eyes and he wiped the tears away with his hands. " are you okay?" he asked. I nodded " yeah" I whispered. " cmon lets go find Thomas and Minho, Im sure they're here somewhere. " He took my hands in his and I don't know what it is but I feel safe with him.

We were walking for hours and my feet started to hurt. I groaned. Newt looked at me and he chuckled. " feet hurts?" I nodded. Newt squat down signalling for me to hop on his back. I happily agreed to and he carried me. I placed my head on his back . I can see his side profile that he was smiling. I smiled as well and we continue to walk. Or he continued to walk.

The sky is getting dark and we are still walking in the maze. Trying to find Thomas and Minho. " I think I can walk now" I said quietly. I wiggled out from Newt grasp. He quickly took my hand in his and I looked down at our hands being held together. I smiled ." you okay there" Newt asked while smiling at me. I looked up at him and said" im fine"
"so um greenie what-" "it's Y/N" Thomas quickly looked at me and I looked at him with a confused expression. Until then, I remembered. I remembered my name! I looked at Newt happily " I remembered my name!"
I said out loud enough for us to hear. Newt laugh and picked me up and spun me around. He then let go of me and we looked at each other smiling. " Y/N , what a pretty name" Newt said. I blushed and we continued walking.
I then looked at Newt and he looks so concentrated. He looks cute. " It's getting late" I said. " yeah, I think we should find somewhere to hide" Newt said. We turned into a corner and we spot a medium size hole in the wall. Full of vines and leafs covering it. " that should be enough" I heard Newt said.
When were about to go in, we heard footsteps coming our way. " quickly hide " Newt said. We quickly went inside and Newt quickly covered the hole with vines and leafs. I heard footsteps coming closer until we heard voices. Familiar voices. Newt looks at me curiously and I did the same.
" how about we turn to the left?" I heard a voice said. " no we can't that's another section to go through" I heard Thomas said. Wait. Thomas? we went out of the hiding spot. " Have you guys found a way out yet?" Newt asked.
Then the two boys quickly turned around and screamed. I chuckled. I shake my head at the two of them. " Oh my goodness. don't do that" Thomas said. " you almost gave us a heart attack" Minho said. Minho looked at me and said. " I don't believe we've met" He extended his arms and I took it. "It's Y/N " " minho" he smiled.
I looked at Newt and he looks at minho with a angry face. Is he jealous? " so um anyway, about the way out" Newt said while pulling me closer to him. " um yeah we uh trying to figure it out" Thomas said. " cmon guys is this way" Minho said.
" how did you guys get here?" Minho asked. " I uh kind of" i got cut off by Newt. " she means I went into the maze cause the doors are closing so I brought Y/N along with me to find you guys" Newt said quickly.
Thomas and Minho gave each other weird looks. " okay? but you do know that this place is dangerous?" Thomas asked. " yeah we know" Newt said and cleared his throat. We continued walking and there's silence filling the atmosphere.
" so Y/N is it? you remembered your name which is good" Thomas said while looking at me. " yeah i'm happy about it" I said. " the doors is not far from here, cmon" Minho said. We run and turned into a corner. In that moment, we can't believe what we saw. "RUN!" Minho yelled.
