It's been months now. All of us thought that we're free and that we could escape. But it turns out not how we expected it to be. We were now stuck in a building. Full of people. For one thing that I clearly remembered was WCKD. They brought us here.
They were spying all of us during at the maze all along. We were all devastated and wanted to get out. Few days ago, I just found out that Newt was non- immune. " why didn't you tell me?" I asked while looking at him.
He shrugged and looked at me nervously. " I didn't want you to worry" He said. " Newt" I sighed. and went to hug him. He instantly hugged me back and I rest my face on his neck." I care about you, you know that?" I asked I felt him nodded. " I know and I love you for that" He said and I can feel him smiling.
I looked up at him. I smile at him and he smiled back. " I love you too" I said and he kissed me. Newt and I are dating for few months now. we're still going strong. More than ever. Right now, everyone of us are stuck in the building full of random people that are immune and held by WCKD.
It's lunch time and all of us gather around and sitting in a round table. " what should we do?" Thomas asked all of us. " we have no idea, WCKD is way too strong for us" Minho said. All of us looked at each other. " We need to find a way out, we can't just stuck here forever and let them test us" Newt said.
" Newt is right. we're not just some toy and once they are done with us, they let us throw us into a dark empty room. No way we're going to let that happen" Thomas agreed with Newt. " Alright fine, but what's the plan?" Minho asked. " wait." I said out of nowhere. Everyone looked at me. " we need to wait for Teresa first before we escape" I said quitely. Thomas nodded. " yeah but we do need a plan on how to get out" Thomas said.
" I got an idea" All of us looked at Minho. " Our room has a open tunnel right?" All of us nodded. " we can just get inside and find they way-" Minho got cut off by Thomas. " what? get us killed alive? That's the way to their lab" Thomas said while looking at Minho with wide eyes.
Minho rolled his eyes. " yes I know but during night time, I mean maybe around 3 or 4 am? We could sneak in and get out of this stupid building. I'm pretty sure that no one will be working at that hour" Minho suggested. I shrugged. " that's not a bad idea" I said. " We could go one by on-" I got cut off by Newt. " no. You're coming with me" Newt said seriously.
I looked at Newt. " but " " no" Newt said again. I slumped my shoulders. I felt Newt kissed the top of my head and I smile. " I just want to protect you" Newt said while wrapping his arms around my shoulders. He smile down at me. " Guys! I just saw Teresa!" Thomas said loudly. We whipped our heads to Thomas and Thomas got up from his seat and find Teresa.
" Teresa!" Thomas yelled. Teresa was walking at the opposite side of the room. Thomas yelled her name again. I saw Teresa turned her head around and looked at Thomas blankly. That's odd. Thomas looked shocked and he quickly run to the gate and he got stopped by the guards.
We quickly follow Thomas. Once we reached, we heard the guards say" sorry sir, you can't go there" The two guards block the door. " no you have too! my friend is right there! i've been looking everywhere for her" Thomas almost yelled and he looked tired.
" You can't enter" one of the guard say. Thomas sighed and Newt gently took Thomas and walk him back to our spot but Thomas quickly turned around and head straight to the door but he was too late. The two guards were already blocking him and holding up a gun.
" we got a wild one here" One of the guards said into the walky talky and few seconds later, there's few people barging into the room causing everyone's attention to look at us. The security quickly locked our arms to our backs and dragged us to our room. " hey! you can't do this!" Thomas yelled. All of us trying to get out of the security's grip but we failed.
When our room door opened, the shoved us into our rooms and they locked it. " great" Minho said. Thomas ignored Minho and he sat down on the bed. With his head in his hands. Newt went to sit down next to Thomas." hey, it's fine. we'll find her." Newt said to Thomas but soon looked up at Minho. " all of us" Minho get what Newt means and Minho shook his head.
" I don't know guys. The way she looked at me, it's not how she always looks at me. She might not recognize me since she's been gone for what? 3 days?" Thomas said while lifting his head up and resting it on his palms. I went to sit down next to Thomas. I pat his back gently. " I guess they've been given her some medicine on not remembering things on what they did to her. She's been on the test for 3 days, i'm sure she still remembers you but just not right now. Maybe she's tired from all the test and she just can't seem to remember anything for now. I'm sure she'll remembers you sooner or later" I said.
Thomas turned to looked at me and he gave me a slight smile. " thanks Y/N" I smiled at him. " you're welcome now the plan to save Teresa?" I asked while looking at them.
