Also warning that this will contain language considering its bakugou so yeah.. you've been warned ✌🏻

Still no one had come. I sat on the front porch steps, the cool breeze blowing over my exposed shoulders and pulling my dress in the direction it beaconed me in. The night had settled in and a melancholy feeling nestled in my chest. 'Wow I have really been stood up. He's actually not coming.'My mind traced over the thought again and again still I waited outside my front door hoping the guy from class 1-B would show. After another ten minutes had passed the feeling really settled in. I pulled myself up trying to gather the pieces of my dignity off the front steps. When I had finally given up hope the quiet sound of feet hitting the pavement roughly echoed to my ears. I turned around beaming hoping I wasn't as lame as I thought I was and my eyes met a pair of crimson ones.
Bakugou stood giving me a strange look, his suit looking rather disheveled much like he wore his school uniform.
"The hell are you looking at?" He barked at me smugly and the heat rushed to my cheeks as I avoided eye contact with him."Shouldn't you be at this stupid dance or whatever with whatever the hell that guys name is? What the hell are you doing sitting up there for?" I starred down at my feet and then back up at the angry boy.
"Not really any of your business is it." I barked back avoiding his intent gaze. I begged the tears that licked at my eyes to go away and I looked up at the moon. Trying to keep my eyes anywhere but on bakugou's, he'd just make fun of me anyway, no way he'd let this go. A silence settled between us after a moment.
"No fucking way, did that bastard stand you up?" His voice sounded more angry than taunting and he quickly closed the gap between us. I turned quickly to face him as a few tears snuck out. They danced race lines down my cheeks and I begged them to stop.
"Look it doesn't matter, can you please just drop it, just this once don't be an ass." I yelled back and went to turn back to the house. A quick hand caught my wrist and he pulled me to face him again. I starred down at him waiting for some witty response.
"Go with me." The words broke the silence of the air around us and I gave him an unsure look.
"Why so you can make fun of me. I don't think so bakugou." He rolled his eyes at me and tugged on my arm a little.
"Come on, would you rather stay here and mope all night." He paused and it looked like he was trying to figure out what to say. "Look I know you really wanted to go to this shitty thing so go... with me."  He added holding out his other hand to me. "How bad can I be right?" My heart pounded against my chest as I cautiously reached my hand towards his.
"Really?" I breathed brushing away the tear streaks.
"I mean if you really don't want to I honestly couldn't fucking care less. I have to go either ways so do whatever the hell you want to." He looked back towards the school keeping his hand extended to me. I rested my fingers into his palm and he let go of my wrist. He pulled me down the steps and wrapped my arm through his and we headed off in the direction of the school.
"You said you had to go? Why's that?" I questioned after a second of quiet as we walked.
"Eh my mom is forcing me to, said it would be good for me to socialize or some shit like that."he answered rubbing the back of his heads. "It's bullshit really." Silence filled the air again and we could finally see the buildings before us. "Why the hell'd you say yes to that piece of trash anyway?" He added starring down at me. His red eyes made me feel weak under them and I fumbled with my words.
"I..i don't know... he asked I guess.." bakugou rolled his eyes at me and looked back towards the school. The sounds of present mic and music could barley be heard from where we were.
"Take more pride in yourself don't just say yes because someone's the first prick to ask. Damn thought as feisty as you are you'd know that." He rested his hand on my fingers that clung to his strong arm and pulled me along. I could feel the heat burning in my cheeks and smiled mostly to myself. We reached the doors soon after. Bakugou pulled open the door letting the sounds spill out into the night.
We walked in, my arm wrapped around his, his hand possessively over mine. Eyes followed us as we reached a table full of a few of our class mates and they looked from the two of us confused. I gave a small wave and smiled as the blonde released my hand.
"I'll go get drinks or whatever." He added before disappearing off into the crowd of students.
The girls gave me tell-me-what's-going-on looks. I shrugged smiling meekly.
"You? And bakugou???" Mina yelled nearly jumping out of her chair.
"Well-" I began and was cut off.
"When did this happen?!?" Uraraka added quickly.
"The thing is-" I began again and another girl chimed in.
"I thought you were going with-" tsuyu began and a loud angry voice cut her off followed by two drinks being slammed down on the table.
"She came with me that's it, drop it." Bakugou commented grabbing my hand and pulling me from my seat. "Shit. Come on let's dance."
I waved bye to the girls who we left behind as I followed behind the angry blonde. Many of the students cleared a path for the two of us as we hit the dance floor. Other couples danced and laughed as they continued their nights. And I felt a bit awkward following him. Eyes could still be felt on us as we stood at the center and I shifted uncomfortably. A grunting type sound pulled my eyes back to the boy who stood in front of me. He roughly stuck out his hand and I took it gingerly. He pulled me to him and we gracefully swayed around the floor. The sound of other students whispering and staring made me shift uncomfortably as we moved and he pulled me closer.
"Just pay attention to me idiot, it's none of their damn business anyway. I just want you to look at me." He said the end a little louder and hushed some of the gossip.  My cheeks flushed a bright red. We swayed rhythmically and people around us slowly cleared out. One song. Two. Three.
"You know you don't have to do this anymore. You've already made my night so much better." I commented in a hushed voice into his chest. "I know this isn't your idea of fun." As my comment settled into the air he stopped. He didn't look at me but he pulled me along behind him and out of the crowed. "Bakugou?where are we going?" I asked as we passed the last few tables and walked swiftly out the double doors and into the night. "Hey!" I yelled pulling my arm back. My finger tips hung loosely in his palm and he turned around. Something covered his face but it wasn't anger, hurt maybe?
"You think I'm not having fun? To hell with that. What the hell do you think I'm doing dumb ass!" I took a slight step back and he continued to yell. "Why the hell would I go out of my way to walk passed your house in the first place huh? I fucking wanted to go with you from the damn start but OH no someone just had to go with the first piece of shit to ask you." His cheeks flushed a deep red and his eyes starred into mine.
"You..you..what?!" My mind swirled around his angry words and took a small step back towards him.
"You're such a dumb ass." He growled pulling me into him and smashing his lips against mine. It was rough at first gradually becoming softer but just as needy. He was soft and he held me gently. His arms wrapped around my waist pulling me closer. He pulled away leaving me slightly out of breath. "Seriously. Dumb ass." He added. The cool night air whipped around us and the quiet echoed back like a reminder that we were very much alone. "Come on I'll walk you home." He added trying to hide the fact that he was grinning from ear to ear.
