"Hey this conversation isn't over." He called after me as I turned for the door. I waved his calm words away.
"Go teach your class eraserhead." The smile could be heard laced through my voice. "We can talk later." I added and headed in the direction of my own classroom.
"Stubborn woman." He sighed under his breath.
"Impatient man." I grinned back and left him behind.***********TIME SKIP***********
Night circled around me, a sense of security hid itself in the darkness. My silver suit reflected the street lamps nicely sending small streams of light in various directions. I tugged my gloves, pulling them around my fingers tighter as I made my rounds. The air was still as I walked and my mind wondered. The sounds of a scream pulled my attention to reality and I took off in its direction. The sound of my boots hitting the pavement echoed back to me as I turned down an alley way. To my surprise a battle had already begun. A familiar figure moved gracefully before me. My coworker moved effortlessly pulling what seemed to be a petty purse thief to the ground. His hair raised effortlessly above his head, his yellow glasses hugged his face. A young girl stood, her back pressed against the brick wall of the building behind her, watching in both joy and fear. I rushed to her side assuring her everything would be okay. Her face softened at my words and the men behind us finally ceased their commotion. I turned to see my fellow pro hero had helped the criminal into a nice unconscious state. The sound of sirens couldn't faintly be heard as they came for the criminal that laid sprawled across the cement. Aizawa explained to the officers once they'd arrived what happened. We were both thanked, though I wasn't much help, and they escorted the victim and her oppressor away. Leaving the two of us alone.
"Eraser-" I began and he cut me short.
"Don't you have a route to patrol." His voice was cool and I could tell he didn't mean it as harshly as it sounded.
"It's always work work work with you." I smiled sending it in his direction knowing full well that's all I would get out of him. My heart flipped in my chest as he pulled himself back up into the skyline of the buildings. "Fine till tomorrow then." I added before returning to my duties.*******TIME SKIP*******
"And I want chapter 14 read by class tomorrow." My words trailed away as my students filed out of the doorway. Calm settled over the room. I made my rounds straightening each desk, and picking up anything that had been left behind. I soft rapping begged my attention to the door way. Aizawa leaned against its frame staring back at me.
"Thought we were going to finish our conversation." His eyes traced my feature. I gave him a smug smile.
"Oh really and what makes you think I've got time." I questioned slyly tossing my silver hair back over my shoulder.
"What do you have going on a date or something?" He questioned sarcastically and i crosses the room to him.
"Maybe, maybe not." I teased turning back to my desk and tossing the pieces of trash I'd picked up into a bin. The feeling of being wrapped up filled my senses and I realized I'd been engulfed in scarf. It wasn't tight but it was enough to shock me. "Aizawa. Is that really professional." I commented turning to look at him over my shoulder. His hair fell around his face, giving his features a dark background. His unmoving eyes bore holes in me.
"Do you really have a date? I mean your a grown woman and you can do what you want I'm just curious." There was a hint of sadness in his voice and it made my heart sink.
"No, unless you're asking," I grinned up at him as he slowly crossed the distance between us.
"Then maybe I'm asking." His voice sent a chill down my spine and he stopped waiting for a response. My heart leapt into my throat when I realized he was serious. "Well?" He questioned and the usual feeling of boredom was no where to be found. Heat grew in my cheeks and I couldn't bring myself to look away from him.
"Sounds like a date." I couldn't help the smile that pulled at the corners of my mouth. He slowly pulled me in, like a fish on a line, till there was no space between us.
"I'll pick you up at seven then, don't keep me waiting." He breathed the words into existence and my heart pounded.
"Impatient man." I commented back, a smile spread across my lips like butter.
"Stubborn woman." He grumbled back pressing his lips softly against my cheek and releasing me. I tried to pull my composure back as he left me standing alone in my vacant classroom.
