My breath caught in my throat. Todoroki stood waiting, a concerned look graced his features. The lights illuminating the walk way of my apartment complex threw shadows across the his face making him look much more distraught.
"What are you doing here?" My voice dropped and my heart sank. Tears threatened the corners of my eyes. Before I could react bakugou pulled the door open all the way exposing my visitor.
"I came to see if you were okay-" the red and white haired boy stoped mid sentence. "What is he doing here?" His eyes locked with the boy standing behind me.
"This is not what it looks like," I began looking from bakugou back to him.
"That's a really fucking funny question coming from you icy hot. Didn't she just leave your place?," Bakugou countered his eyes stuck to todoroki. "And this is exactly what it looks like."
"I'm fine. Thank you for coming to check on me." My voice fell flat. "But-" I began and bakugou finished.
"But as you can see I've got it covered. You can get the hell out of here." Venom laced the blonde boys words.
" Are you sure you're okay? I just thought you suddenly didn't feel well because you left out of no where." Todoroki continued, pulling his gaze back to me, ignoring the boy behind me.
"She feels fucking fine. Now why don't you leave her the hell alone. Maybe go ask your prick of a dad why she left icy hot." I tossed a glare back at him and he shrugged. "Sorry (y/n) but I don't know how you can let him walk around like everything's fine."
"Bakugou!" I threw him a shut up look and he rolled his eyes.
"How about you keep your nose in your own business," todoroki coaxed.
"Suddenly this IS my fucking business." Bakugou yelled back moving forward. I rested a hand on his chest.
"Chill out both of you." I demanded shooting both of them a warning stare.
"Oh really and what is she to you?" Todoroki mocked back stepping slightly closer to the door.
"Now that sounds like none of your damn business." Bakugous hands smoked reflexively. "You wanna fucking go peppermint, let's go."
"That's enough!" I called over the both of them putting myself in between them. "Todoroki I really think your family would like you home. We can talk some other time. I appreciate you coming to check on me, but as you can see I'm feeling much better now. I'll see you at school." He looked from the blonde to me and I could see the hurt in his eyes. The heaviness sunk back into my chest as I watched him turn and walk away. Bakugou pushes the door closed and I whipped around to face him.
"What the hell was that?" I huffed gesturing to the door.
"Look I just think it's better that he knows what's going on. Not that I care about feelings but if my old man said some shit like that to the girl I liked I'd want to know. " he answered shrugging.
"Why are you being so I don't know? Helpful? Nice or whatever?" I gave him a strange look. He was quiet as we made our way back to the couch.
"What you want me to be an ass?" He questioned leaning back. I shook my head no quickly.
"It's just I didn't think you liked me all that much,let alone to give advice?" I said shrugging leaning back.
"I don't really like anyone," he gave me a crooked grin. I rolled my eyes at him. The sound of buzzing filled the air and he pulled out his phone holding it to his ear.
"What do you want hag," He began and I gave him a shocked look.
"No I was working out," he paused waiting for a response.
"No, what the hell, I'm with.." He paused looking at me, "a friend." He finished and the faint sound of a woman yelling could be heard.
"Okay whatever. Damn." He huffed clicking end and shoving the phone back into his pocket. "Sorry I've got to go or some shit like that," he walked to the door and I followed.
He looked back at me like he wanted to say something but didn't know how.
"Don't worry I won't tell a soul the great bakugou was nice to me." A smirk pulled at his cheeks and I couldn't help but smile. "For real though thank you." I added and he walked out the door. I pushed the door closed and made my way back to the couch. Tomorrow is going to be so weird.

*********TIME SKIP********

The morning had flown by quickly, nothing very eventful happened. Class went on as usual. I stole a glance here and there at todoroki,though he ignored me. I wanted to say something. I wanted to fix whatever he thought happened last night, but I wasn't sure how. Nothing felt like the right thing to say.
I walked into the busy lunch room engulfed in students. I tossed whatever looked ok onto my tray. I already knew I wouldn't touch it. I made my way through lines of tables looking for a place to sit when a waving kirishima caught my eye. I made my way over to his table. Sero, Mineta and Kaminari joined him.
"You looked lost." The red head grinned.
"I felt a little lost." I admitted giving him a sheepish smile and settling in next to him.
"So are you going?" Kaminari questioned tossing some food back.
"Going?" I questioned looking around at the table of boys.
"To Minas party? She thought it would be fun for all of class 1-A to get together since that test's after lunch. I'll text you the address if you need it?" Kirishima explained. I paused for a moment debating.
"Come on you have to come it's going to be fun!" Sero added after a second and gave them an I give up Look.
"Alright, I don't see why not. I will need that address." I smiled and the rest of the boys high fives and started up their own conversations. My eyes danced across the many faces of students around us. Todoroki walked between a few tables and headed out the lunch room doors. My heart ached and I turned my attention back to the table. Kirishima gave me a concerned look. I hadn't even realized he'd been watching me.
"You two okay? You haven't said a word to each other all morning." Kirishima observed in a hushed tone.
"Honestly, I don't know." I whispered back shrugging. The bell chimed over us sending many students in the direction of their classes.
"Come on it doesn't matter we need to ace this test." I smiled and exited the table.

(BAKUGOUS POV)

I handed my test off at Aizawas desk and made my way out of the room. Leaving most of the class behind.
"Hey, bakugou!" Kirishimas voice called from behind as he jogged to catch up with me. "You coming to Mina's tonight?" I shrugged in response shoving my hands into my pockets.
"Yeah, not interested." I huffed looking off down the hall that extended in front of us. He rolled his eyes throwing an arm roughly around my shoulders.
"Aw come on man, I think everyone but todoroki's going." He wined into my ear.
My mind immediately went to (y/n) and I kicked myself. What the hell was up with me? Why did suddenly matter that she was going? I shook the thoughts away glancing sideways at the red head next to me.
"Fine. But I'm not staying long." I huffed shrugging his arm off.
"Hell yeah man! Tonight's going to be awesome! Kirishima called nudging me. Yeah let's hope so.
