chapter ten

Sebastian was laid in bed awake watching rachel sleeping he was so thrilled she had agreed to sleep by his side.h

He had no idea what time it was nor did he care he didnt want the next day to dawn he wanted to remain liad next to her forever.

He gently moved closer to her and placed a gentle soft kiss in her hair careful not to wake her.

Now laid closer to her he started to drift off into a peaceful sleep as the brunette beauty who slept beside him filled his dreams like she had since he had met her.

The next morning

Rachel

Rachel woke up as the sun peeked through the drapes she felt something around her and saw it was Sebastian's arm her first thought was to move it but she didnt want to wake him so she remined laying there.

As she laid there the bedroom door opened and maggie walked in carrying a tray the look on her face when she saw rachel made rachel blush despite last night beeb completely innocent.

" oh im so sorry i didnt know... never mind" maggie said quickly retreating from the room the clatter of the door closing woke Sebastian up.

" what was that noise" he asked sleepily his arm remaining around her.

" your mom came in i think she was carrying your breakfast then she saw me" rachel said.

"Dont worry i will explain why you are here" he said

" im going to get up now" she said then i funny thing happened it felt like his arm around her tighted its hold.

" im going to go to the house and get it ready for you " she said he removed his arm and he got out of bed catching sight of her bed head in the mirror.

She quickly made her way out of the bedroom and came face to face with a mortified looking maggie.

"Rachel i am so sorry" maggie said.

"Dont be i stayed with him because he is sick" she said maggie nodded.

" still now heis married i shouldnt have just walked in but i didnt want to wake him " she said

"Dont worry about it and he is awake now...im going to go to the house he wants his own bed so im goign to go get his room ready" rachel said.

" stay for breakfast atleast" maggie said rachel nodded.

Later that day

Rachel was in the kitchen making some soup and a stew it was quarter past two in the afternoon when charles arrived helping Sebastian by almost carrying him.

" your bedroom is ready" she said

" can i go into the living room im sick of been laid down" Sebastian said

" sure" rachel said

"If you need me to help you get him upstairs i will be working from home all day so just come for me" charles said helping Sebastian into his armchair by the fire which rachel had lit the moment she got home to make the house nice and warm for him.

" thats better" Sebastian said warming his hands.

" are you hungry" rachel asked

" alittle" he said

" right then your in safe hands i will be off... remember rachel if you need us come for us anytime" charles said before seeing himself out.

Rachel went upstiar and got a blanket and placed it over Sebastian's lap to keep him warm before going and pouring him a bowl soup with some bread she had made. Once he was settled eating rachel was going to get back to her chores...

" rachel " Sebastian said

"Yes" she said

" relax have some soup " he said she nodded and went and got herself some soup and returned to the living room they were silent as their ate. Then once they had finished rachel cleared their bowls up.

" thank you" Sebastian said s she tuck his bowl.

"Its only soup" she said

"I wasnt talking about the soup i meant for looking after me last night and now" he said she smiled and went into the kitchen.

Ten days later

Rachel was in her usual spot in the kitchen making a meat pie for dinner it was a lovely summery day.

Sebastian's health had improved greatly in tbe days since his accident and the two of them had become much more relaxed around each other.

She had slept in his bed every night though she had said she would go back to her own three nights ago when the doctor had said he was almost back to full health. Sebastian however later said he felt unwell and inisited she remain with him.

As she stands at the kitchen table rolling pastry Sebastian walks into the kitchen dressed for the first time since he was hurt.

He looked well he was smiling he looked n perfect health as he went and poured them both a cup of coffee.

" you might as well stop what your doing" he said handing her mug of coffee to her She looked at him puzzled.

"Why dont you want meat pie" she asked.

"You know i love everything you make but tonight we are dining out as a thank you for looking after me im taking you to the best restaurant in town" he said

"Oh you dont have too..." she said.

" nonsense i do plus when thad came to see me the other day he told me there was a rumour i was disfigured and i want to show all of westerville society that i am as handsome as ever" he said before walking out of the room.
