epilogue

Several blissful weeks later rachel was in the garden tending the flower bed she had developed quite a love of gardening.

As she dead headed a rose she started to feel strange she felt sick it passed after a few seconds.

She carried on pruning the roses when another wave of sickness hit her and his time she had to dash intothe house and run to the bathroom where she vomited.

After been sick she went into the kitchen and got a glass of water thinking she had been outside in the sun to long.

After sitting down for ten minutes and drinking her water she went back into the garden and cleared away her gardening tools.

She then went inside and set about making dinner as Sebastian would be home in an hour from school.

She decided to makehis favourite desert apple crumble so she stood in the kitchen peelingthe apples when another wave of sickness came.

Finally after she felt alittle better she finishedthe apple pie and dinner was almost ready.

At four pm the front door opened and in came Sebastian given they were in the middle of aheatwave she had taken to meeting him in the hallway with a glass of chilled home made lemonade.

" thank you my love" he said taking he glass from her and downing the cold drink before pulling her into his arms and kissing her.

" we probably shouldn't kiss i think i might be getting sick" rachel said the look of concern flashed on his face. He placed his hand on her forehead.

" you do feel hot then again your ridiculously handsome hubby just kissed you so thats to be expected" he said making her giggle.

" do you feel ill" he asked a moment later.

" i keep feeling sick it just co es over me then passes" she said she then saw his face change he was now stood there positively beaming at her.

" are you also feeling tired" he asked still smiling.

"Yeah... why are you smiling" she asked.

"rach i think your gonna be a mommy" he said tears now following down his face before he gave her a tight cuddle.

" you mean im... we are having a baby" she asked

" i think so we best see adoctorto confirm it but funnily enough the past few days i have thought you were glowing" he said before holding her head in his hands.

" im gonna be a daddy" he said then picked her up and spun her around which made her feel skin and she made him put her down and she rushed to the bathroom.

After been sick she left the bathroom and the second she did Sebastian pulled her into a cuddle.

" oh rach i never thought i would be able to hold you too kiss now here we are expecting our first baby" he said placing a hand on her stomach.

" we best see a doctor" she said he nodded.

The following day.

Sebastian had arranged an appointment with their family doctor after school and they were now sat waiting in the waiting room.

Sebastian was sat staring at her stomach a smiled etched onnhis face like it had since he had told her he thought  she was pregnant. Rachel felt stupid for  not realising it herself but she had never been told the signs of pregnancy.

" mrs smythe" the doctor said Sebastian  jumped up and held her hand as they made their way into the doctors office.

" how can i help you today" the doctor asked.

" we think i might be pregnant " rachel said.

" exciting lets get it confirmed" the doctor said.

Several minutes later the results were in and the doctor looked up from his notes.

" congratulations you are indeed pregnancy" the doctor said rachel burst into tears Sebastian rubbed her back before she started to sob.

"Rach" Sebastian  said.

"I wish my parents were here for me to tell them" she ssid Sebastian pulled her to him and held her close.

" they live on through you and our baby" he said she nodded.

" we should tell your parents" she said he nodded.

A short while later

They arrived at his parents house just as his mom was plating dinner up and insisted that they join them.

"Your both looking well" his dad said as they sat down at the table. Rachel and Sebastian looked at each other.

"Is everything ok" his mom maggie asked rachel looked at Sebastian and nodded indicating that he stould tell them.

" mom dad your going to be grandparents " he said his mom burst into tears before engulfing rachel in a hug while his dad hugged him.

" congratulations and maggie you were right" his dad charles said.

" what" Sebastian asked

" i told your dad i thought rach was glowing" maggie said

" i noticed that too" Sebastian  said before kissing rachel on her forehead.

" im so happy im so pleased for you both" maggie said hugging them both.

In time

Rachel gave birth to a little girl who they named sofia her middle name was shelby after the grandmother she would never know.

A year later rachel gave birth to a boy who they named Sebastian charles after his dad and granddad.

Four years later Sebastian graduated from law school and his dad made him partner in the family firm.

While their wasnt a day that went by that rachel didnt think about or miss her parents shewas happyshe had a loving husband who adored her.

She loved been a mom she actually felt closer to her mom through her children whenever she did things with them that she used to do with her.

She often told her children stories about her parents she wanted them to know them as best as they could. She wanted them to know that they had existed.

Rachel never used to believe in fate but now she did because of what happened to her parents she ended up with her soulmate. Would they have been together had that terrible accident not happened. Would she not be hw mom of thw two most precious children in the world.

Rachel smythe was something she hadnt thought she would be after losing her parents... she was happy.
