Hours seemed to slip by as I clicked through channels.Nothing! Damn it! All I want is something on tv. Ughhhhh! Why lord, why?
I continued to click through the channels. Still nothing interesting just boring cartoons. I rolled my eyes as i shoved my lucky charms in my mouth. Soon the episode was done and got done with my cereal. I got up and placed my dishes in the sink. I looked out the window and saw the trees.
"Well Todays weather is beautiful." I sighed out as I looked at the dark clouds. Stormy weather was the absolute best, so beautiful and calming. Slightly depressing but still beautiful.
As my gaze still stood still into the stormy clouds, I heard a car door shut in the driveway. My sight snapped to the driveway and saw Eric walking to the gate. My eyes rolled back.
"What does he want?"
I dragged myself to the door and cracked it open. Eric stood at the door with his hands crossed behind his back. A wide grin was plastered on his face as he looked up at me. His happiness only was bringing me to be more annoyed."Spes is not here right now. Please come back at a later time."
"Awe what a pity." He sighed.
His hands drew out from behind his back to reveal two black tickets. I opened the door a little more to get a better look. He drew back the tickets from my sight.
"What is that?" I asked.
"Wouldn't you like to know? If only Seprina was here so we could go watch that new movie in town. What was the name of it again?"
He put the ticket in his face, reading it out loud.
"It appears to say "Laughter is a Crime." He smiled.
I could feel my happiness levitating me off the ground. My feet went up and down as excitement ran through my core.
"You didn't?! I thought they were sold out!" I squeezed his hand reaching for the tickets. He raised the ticket above my head. I felt like a puppy only trying to get a bone.
"I saw them online and was like "Spes would love this" so I bought'em. But Spes is not here so I guess I'll go watch it with some other person." He huffed,
Walking off the steps."Spes is here! I'm here! Now wait a second, lemme get some nice clothes on alright." I yelled as I ran into the house. I rushed until I finally came out with a semi casual wear.
Eric wore a big cheesy smile once we got into his car. We played music the whole entire time until we arrived at the theaters. I was literally screaming with joy, no way could this go wrong. I was with one of my best friends, it was cloudy out, and I was going to see one of my favorite actresses in a rom-com.
As we headed into the theaters, droplets of rain started to fall. A small smile started to appear on my roses cheeks. Eric and I jumped in every puddle. Our pants cold and wet but honestly, so worth it! Once we finally stopped fooling around we were in the building.
The smell of hot buttery popcorn swirled around in the air. I looked over at Eric and he's already heading to the bathroom.
" I'll be right back." He said as he rushed his way through the jumble of people. I of course being the person I am, went right to the popcorn. Lines of people were in the way to get that scrumptious popcorn bucket. The line was so long I would probably be waiting there for 30 minuets or so.
10 minuets already in, I was already getting bored. Eric was still gone, and the line didn't even move. My legs were growing tired from just standing there. I assumed someone in front was having troubles with their kids because of the constant yelling up in front of the line. As I scrolled through Instagram, I felt a sudden push against my back. I jumped out of shock turning instantly.
