Seprina's POV

My eyes opened to a ceiling of pitch black. I looked around the room to only see a single lit candle that barely illuminated any of the shadows in this room. The smell of wood and musk filled the air, like I was in a man's room. I wasn't home, I wasn't in my room, I wasn't in my bed. I was in someone else's. Where am I?!

"Would he-" I quickly shut my mouth once I heard running footsteps towards the door.

"Fix her! I know you can Leo. I'll do anything, just help her damn it!" I heard A voice, rough And demanding outside the door. It was a younger man's voice, it sounded too familiar to forget but the rage that was screaming through his tone was setting off my memory.

"Fix her now Leo! I know you can. I'll do anything." The man yelled, his tone deep and desperate. I jumped back almost falling off the bed when I heard a thudding crash against the wall outside the room. I winced in pain as a stinging sensation shot through my every nerve. I lifted my arm to touch my head, dried gushy substance covered my forehead. Everything seemed to stop, I felt nothing. My hands shook as I dragged my hand down to my eyes. Blood...

Everything that happened, happened. My god. I almost died. Wait am I dead?!

I pinched my cheek and deeply regretted it. Scratches and clotted blood covered my cheek, a stinging sensation burned in my skin.
Alright idiot you're still alive. I sighed in relief as I slowly laid my hand down to the bed. I couldn't move, every move felt like it was killing me.

"Why do you let him have hold on you. You're such a good man, why can't you just be like your father?" The older man spoke. I held my breath once a deep growl escaped from one of them. The growl was bone shaking, inhuman.

"I am not that man! And I will never be him! He was not ever a father to me! That monster was the one that gave me this blunder of a gift!" The younger man screeched.

"I am not fixing her until you fix yourself!" The older man spoke. Footsteps could be heard as one of the man were walking away. A slight drop sound came in front of the door sounding like someone falling to their knees. To come with a deep sigh and soft words echoing out of the younger man.

"Please Leo, help her. She's needs it, she's going to die without you. Don't let my faults be the death of her." The man weeped. The sadness in his voice was so painful to hear, a pain that I could not explain. It was just if I had all the happiness inside me was ripped out all at once.

"Alright, I shall do the deed. But its only because I know how much of a burden it would have been upon you. That is the least your people need."

Who's this girl they are talking about? What love and what people?! Things need to be explained around here! Why am I even here?!

I felt shivers run down my body again.

Where could I be?

My head was pounding with so much questions. I closed my eyes trying to calm myself, slowing down my breath, closing my eyes. Blood trickled from my head and off my nose. The taste of iron was apparent. My body giving up on me. My breaths became more heavier with each breath. The dim lit candle becoming more faint each second. The creaking of wood and crackling sounds of the wick candle drifted away from me. I felt my last breath weakly push out of me. I felt no coldness, no warmth, my skin only felt tingly. The pain I felt no longer was with me. My heart taking its last beat before I went numb.
