At Riverdale High, Sweet Pea, Fangs and Izzy stood in back of the auditorium as Archie and Veronica, Reggie and Josie, Jughead and Betty all answered questions made by the students and parents for student council president and co-president.

"Okay, now just a quick reminder that this school hall is a PTA sponsored event," Alice announced at the podium, "Oh, looks like we got our first question." Alice stated, pointing over to Sweet Pea, who was still standing with Izzy and Fangs.

"Oh, boy," Izzy quietly groaned and Fangs laughed at her as Sweet Pea began to speak.

"Yeah, no offense to the, uh, current administration," Sweet Pea explained, holding up some type of brochure, "but it doesn't look like anyone's looking out for the students, who are being buzzed in from the Southside. Is that going to change?" Sweet Pea asked, looking over at Fangs, who patted him on the back.

Izzy moved her eyes from staring at Sweet Pea to looking over at the stage where all the candidates stood.

"Absolutely, Sweet Pea, that's our priority," Jughead replied, holding the microphone up so he could speak through it, "And no one should feel marginalized or excluded here."

"Jughead and I will be representing all students, Northside and Southside alike." Betty added in and Alice had a nervous look on her face.

"Next question." Alice quickly spoke up and Midge raised her hand, "Yes, Midge?"

"My question is for Archie and Veronica," Midge stated as she stood up from her seat, "Rumor has it that your parents will soon be on opposite sides of the mayoral election, won't that negatively affect your working affection?"

"Archie and I adhere to the old maxim that politics are never discussed at the dinner or the cafeteria table." Veronica stated, causing some people to laugh.

"Veronica and I are on the same page about everything including her family's plan for a prison on the Southside." Archie added in and Izzy let out a loud boo, which both Fangs and Sweet Pea did soon after.

Jughead, who was on the stage, slightly smiled when he saw this while Archie rolled his eyes, "In the meantime, however, we're committed to improving the quality of life at Riverdale High, which means more extracurriculars—"

"Reggie and I agree," Josie spoke up,  "Except, add the fact that we can and will deliver results." She explained

"We're chill, unlike these guys." Reggie added in, causing many people to laugh.

After the meeting was over, Sweet Pea and Izzy walked down the hallway, holding hands, "We better get going. Alice will be coming out to get me soon enough. She still not over the fact that I moved in with you. Especially because Betty also moved out and is now living with Jughead." Izzy explained, just as she spotted Alice.

Her eyes widened and she quickly grabbed Sweet Pea's hand, leading him to a secluded place full of lockers, "I gotta be honest, you can't keep dodging her forever, Iz." Sweet Pea sighed.

"Well, I can try, Sweet Pea." She replied, "Let's go." She said before she and Sweet Pea headed for the door.

In one of the school's hallways, Alice stopped when she finally found FP, "FP, you should be ashamed of yourself. Letting my sweet, innocent Betty live in sin at the soup can you call a trailer. And then, let our daughter move in with Sweet Pea a couple trailers down from you." Alice complained, FP lead her to the wall so he could speak with her more privately, "Do you know that I found condoms and birth control in her drawer? They're probably doing it in his trailer every single night. I don't want history to repeat itself again."

"Do you think I'm a fan of this arraignment? You're talking to the guy who's sleeping on a pullout sofa with his son so your daughter can have his bedroom. And don't even get me started on Izzy. I thought it would be better for her living on the Northside, yet now, she's back and already starting fights with others. She's reverting to her old self again."

Alice was silent as she stared at FP, "Wait, you're doing that?"

"Look, take it from a guy whose son choose being homeless over living with his old man. Make things right with Betty, before it's too late. Izzy, too." FP told and Alice sighed.

Izzy was in Sweet Pea's bathroom, brushing her teeth when she heard her name being called, "Izzy! Come quick!" Sweet Pea shouted out, causing Izzy to quickly drop her tooth brush in the sink and make her way into the living room where Sweet Pea was pointing towards the TV.

She quietly gasped when she saw the shady man, whom still killed's car was on the news. It had been found in Swedlow Swamp, "Oh, my God." She muttered as she shared a nervous glance with Sweet Pea.

The morning, Izzy has gotten a text to meet Alice, FP, Jughead, and Betty at Pop's.

Izzy sat on the end beside Betty while Alice and FP sat across from her. The group of five was dead silent before Jughead spoke up.

"We should've known better," Jughead admitted quietly, "I should've known better. We should've driven that car further out of town!"

"No, no. How could you have known that Junkyard Steve drags the swamp for people's castoffs? It was dumb luck." FP stayed, looking over at Izzy, who was looking down at the table.

"It's Jones luck, you mean." Jughead corrected his father.

"Shouldn't Chic be here considering he helped Izzy stab the guy." FP complained, looking at Izzy, who hadn't said a word since arriving.

"Don't worry about Chic." Alice argued.

"Normally, I would disagree, but don't worry about chic, he doesn't know a single thing about that stupid car." Izzy told him quietly, still avoiding eye contact with the four.

"When Betty and I got to the swamp, we wiped the thing clean of fingerprints before we pushed it in," Jughead explained to them.

"Wearing gloves?" Izzy asked as if it were the most obvious thing ever.

Jughead was quiet for a long moment before speaking up, "I think so." He replied.

"I'm pretty sure." Betty said at the same time.

"What do you mean you think so, Jughead?" Izzy asked, growing angry and both FP and Alice knew the girl was close to busting it out.

"No, no, no, we were. We one-hundred percent were." Betty explained to them just as the bell rang.

The group of five turned their heads to see Sheriff Keller walk into the diner.
They all began to tense up, "If anybody comes around asking questioned, we don't know anything." FP commanded, "We don't talker anyone. We act like everything's normal. And Izzy, you don't tell Sweet Pea about anything that has to do with this anymore, you understand?"

Izzy sighed as she nodded her head, "Got it."

"Oh, you're coming home so you're not nesting with a bunch of Serpents. And Izzy, you're coming home from your little trip to lover's paradise at your boyfriend trailer."

"No, you are not going to use this to manipulate us into coming home, Mom." Betty defended herself and Izzy, "You know the deal. We come home when Chic leaves."

"Okay—" Alice started, pointing her finger up at Betty, but FP cut her off.

"Okay, everybody, be cool. In the unlikely event that something happens, we batten down the hatches. Until then, life goes on, and nobody goes anywhere near that car."

Izzy sighed, nodding her head in agreement before she got up to leave, "Izzy, Wait!" Alice called out for her daughter, but Izzy didn't listen. She left anyway.
