Sweet Pea and Izzy were sitting together at the front counter of Pop's drinking milkshakes and sharing a plate of fries when they saw Alice enter.

  It was nighttime in Riverdale and the couple had nothing better to do than hang out at Pop's. When Alice entered, Izzy noticed how she looked like a completely different person than she usually did. She was looking like a total Southside Serpent member; darker makeup, leather jacket, snake-printed blouse. Alice seemed to be dressed more like a Southsider lately and Izzy totally loved the new her. It fit Alice more, she thought.

When she entered, Alice made her way over to FP, who was in the middle of working his shift as a busboy. Sweet Pea and Izzy instantly knew that Alice didn't know that Izzy was there with her boyfriend. If she did, she wouldn't have been talking the way she was.

"What's happening, Handsome?" Alice asked FP, smiling as she greeted him.

"Just, uh, busting tables, Alice. You?" FP replied, seeming a bit uncomfortable for some odd reason. Izzy had a few ideas for reasons, but she didn't want to say them out loud. Sweet Pea knew though, anything that Izzy knew, there was a one hundred percent chance Sweet Pea knew also.

FP began to walk towards behind the counter area with a tub full of dirty dishes he had gathered from the tables where customers had just eaten, "Just finished rehearsal," She informs him, "I'm in the high school musical, can you believe it?" Alice asked and waited for an answer, which she didn't get as soon as she wanted.

As FP walked towards another part of the counter area, Alice followed him. Both adults didn't even realize that their daughter and her boyfriend were literally a foot away from them, eavesdropping on the conversation because they just couldn't help themselves.

"Maybe you'll come by? Check it out?" Alice asked curiously as she leaned her hands on the table, moving closer to FP with a smile on his face.

"I'm working, Alice." FP replied calmly, "Sorry." He told her before he walked off, leaving Alice a bit hurt.

Izzy could tell by the look on her mother's face that she was sad by his response. Izzy knew that Alice was becoming lonely without anyone around. Polly and her twin children were long gone, Hal moved out, Betty was never home, and Chic was forced to move out so Izzy and Betty could move back in. Izzy was sometimes home, but spent most of her time at the Whyte Wyrm, hanging out with her friends, which Alice surprisingly encouraged.

Alice shut her eyes for a moment, taking a deep breath before she spoke up, "Wow, really? This whole act again?" She commented, holding her hands up as she walked over to him once again, "You know what's funny? I was afraid our kids were going to make the same mistakes we did. Turns out, we're the ones making them all over again." Alice stared at FP for a moment before she left the diner.

Once Alice was out of the diner and long gone, Izzy and Sweet Pea shared a quick glance at each other before they looked over at FP, who was standing about ten feet away from.
