     Izzy's eyes were shut as she laid fast asleep in her hospital bed. She suddenly heard a pair of footsteps near her, causing Izzy's eyes to immediately fluttered open. Her vision was a bit blurry a first, needing to get used to the darker light in. She turned her head to the side, instantly noticing that it was Sweet Pea walking around. 

   He held a vase of flowers in his hand as he walked over to the window, placing them in front, "I hate flowers." She complained with a groan, causing Sweet Pea to instantly turn to look at her.

  He wanted to go over there and start asking questions about why the hell she went with Jughead to see the Ghoulies but he was no use. He sighed, placing the bouquet of flowers down before he walked over to the chair that resided beside her bed, "I know. They're not from me, they're from Alice. She wanted me to bring them for you, she's been trapped in the house and felt guilty that she hasn't been able to get out of the house in the past two days to see you." He explained to her quietly and Izzy nodded her head slowly in understanding.

    "So...What did I miss?" She asked curiously and Sweet Pea sighed once more, knowing Izzy was definitely not going to take any of the new he was about to tell her lightly.

  "What you and Jughead did got every single Serpent out of hiding to fight the Ghoulies. We were close to winning, but at the end of the day, we were clearly outnumbered by the Ghoulies," He informed her, "And before you ask why we still fought, we wanted to avenge, you, Fangs, and Jughead. And come to find out, Fangs is actually alive."

   Izzy's eyes widened in shock when she heard her boyfriend's words, "No, no, that can't be. The nurse--" She began to speak, but Sweet Pea cut her off.

  "--Was a fake nurse, paid by Hiram Lodge himself." He told her and Izzy felt relieved that her friend was actually alive, "Our home's gone, too, Izzy. Sunnyside Trailer Park was burned to the ground. Only a few of the trailers are left standing, one of them being FP's."

  "So, it's your first day out of the hospital after being there for a whole week and you want to get a tattoo?" Fangs asked curiously as they booth in the tattoo parlor on the Southside of town. Surprisingly, it was still standing after all the riots and fights. Izzy was glad for that.

  Izzy stood in front of the binder filled with tattoo ideas, scanning through to see if there was any that caught her eyes, "I almost died, Fangs," She told him in a calm down, still looking down at the pictures of tattoo, "Every time something big happens to me, I get a tattoo. Remember?" Izzy reminded her friend and Fang couldn't help but smile.

  "Oh, so getting transferred to Riverdale High and spending New Years with Sweet Pea counted as big things happening to you?" He questioned and Izzy rolled her eyes at him.

   "That was different," She argued, looking up at him.

   "Yeah, how?" Fangs retorted and Izzy let out a sigh.

  "I was proving a point with the Riverdale High one and I was drunk off my ass when I got the crown tattooed to my ribs alongside Sweet Pea on New Years." She explained before going back to looking for a tattoo.

  Her eyes stopped when they saw a tattoo of a snake. She already had enough snake tattoos, but the one on the paper reminded her of the snake that bit her in the woods when she almost died, "This one." She spoke up to the tattoo artist who was standing behind the counter, waiting for her to be ready.

   Fangs took a peek at the paper and frowned, "Another snake tattoo? Don't you have enough of those?" he asked and Izzy shook her head.

  "This isn't like the others. This one looks almost exactly like the one that bit me. I want it tattooed on me to remind of it every time I look at it." She replied and Fangs gave her a confused look.

  He scoffed, "Why would you want to be reminded of that, Izzy? You almost died out there." 

   "Exactly," She told him and Fangs frowned, "I want to be reminded that I almost died. I survived that horrific event because Sweet Pea found me in time." 

   Fangs nodded his head in understanding. He was silent, clearly in deep thought about her explanation, "Well, damn, okay. Where are you going to get it?"

    Izzy couldn't help but smile at his reaction.

The next day, Izzy ended up being able to go to school. Of course, like any other time something big happened to the Southside, Jughead held a meeting with the group in one of the random classrooms. Izzy stood beside Jughead near the teacher's desk while Sweet Pea and Toni stood a couple feet away from them.

   "So, this is how it ends, huh? Not with a whimper, but with a memo from Weatherbee," Jughead questioned as he held up the flyer he had received before he finally crumbled it up until a ball and tossed it.

   "Riverdale High, now suddenly overcrowded," Toni commented, "So starting next week our former Southside High students will be bused to Seaside High, which is two hours away? But of course, Izzy, you get to stay here because you live on the Northside."

  Izzy scoffed at the last part, hearing a bit of annoyance in her friend's voice when she mentioned her. 

 "Meaning he blames us for trashing the school during riot night," Sweet Pea added in, ignoring the part Toni had said about his girlfriend.

  Izzy sighed as she slowly looked up with Sweet Pea, already regretting what she was going to say to him, "Well, Sweets, if we're getting technical, you actually did trash the school during riot night." She spoke up, seeming annoyed with her boyfriend by her tone of voice.

  Sweet Pea sighed, also, knowing that Izzy was totally right about it, "What's our play, guys?" Sweet Pea asked both Jughead and Izzy, "Do we have one?"

  "I don't know anymore, guys," Jughead answered, "I can't keep fighting for a gang that doesn't exist."

  "Well, what about us?' Toni questioned him curiously, "Or any of the other Serpents at the Wyrm?"

  Jughead quickly turned to face Toni when he heard her words, "What Serpents at the Wyrm?" He asked confused.
