Emma's POV
Cameron. He said his name was Cameron. Could it be him? I don't really remeber how he looked before because it happened so suddenly.
"Nice. Well I'll go tell my Aunt that you're staying. Like I said, she won't mind." he said, giving me a nod before he started to leave the room.
"Okay." I breathe out thankfully.
He left the room. I looked around his room. He had beige walls with a couple pictures up on his wall.
I went closer and examined each picture. A lot were of him with a woman who I guessed was his mother.
I set my bag down on the floor again. I looked at my watch and saw the time. 1:00 pm. I slept for a long time.
Cameron came back into the room.
"She said its okay. If you want to shower or something I have a bathroom there and there's another bathroom in the hall. If you want to be in another room, there's a guest room right across the hall from this room." he explained then smiled.
"Okay. Thanks again." I said gratefully.
I soon left his room and made my way to the guest room.
The room was blue with a closet on the side, a small dresser and a bed. There was also a table and chair beside the dresser and a nightstand on either side of the bed.
I set my bag down at one of the tables and sat down on the bed, questions starting to run through my mind.
How long will I be able to stay here? What if my mom finds me? I worry so much that I'll probably end up loosing my mind.
A lady stood at the doorway. I'm guessing that's his aunt.
"Oh hello," I said getting up from the bed that I sat on.
"Hi, how are you?" she said grinning.
"I'm fine. Thank you for letting me stay here." I smile towards her.
"Oh you're welcome. You can stay as long as you need to." She assures me and I'm the most grateful that I've been on years.
"Thank you." I say once more and she nods and begins to leave.
"Oh and you can call me Ms.Dallas by the way, But Cameron calls me Aunt May" she stops and tells me.
I smiled and nodded slightly as she left the room. The peices started to come together and that's when I knew it was truly him. Cameron Dallas.
Cameron's POV
Finding a girl passed out on your lawn is a pretty alarming situation but I did what I had to do. Without thinking twice, I had brought her into my room and let her stay there for the night while I stayed the guest room.
I'm glad I'll be able to help her stay here but something doesn't feel right. She seems oddly familiar in a way that I just can't figure out. My thoughts are soon interrupted when she shyly steps into the room.
"Hey what's up?" I greeted her, casually spinning around in my swivel chair.
"Can I ask you something?" She speaks, her words coming out uneasily.
"Of course." I said, obviously curious to know what she needs to know.
"Do you remember me...?" She asks after a moment of awkward silence.
"Well I felt like we've met before but I can't get my mind to think of where." I answer truthfully.
"Cameron... Its me... Emma Locke. Remember? The bathroom incident?" She says and my eyebrows furrow together in confusion. I have no idea on what she's talking about.
After minutes of thinking, her words seem to hit me like a bullet and it all comes back to me.
"Emma...." I whispered in shock that it was actually her. "How are you? What happened? How did you get here?" I bombard her with my questions.
She laughs lightly before speaking. "Cameron... Its a long story and I'll eventually explain it all but I'm just so surprised that we ended up in the same place... Again."
I smiled as I got up, pulling her in for a hug.
"It truly is crazy how our paths crossed again." I said as I released her from my embrace.
"Yeah, it is...." She pauses, deep in thought. "Well, shall I explain how I got here?" she later speaks up.
I nodded and we sat down on the edge of my bed. She started to explain everything to me. How her mother would constantly abuse and treat her horribly. How she was able to get money to come here, away from her mother.
"Anyways, so as I got off the bus I felt really weak and my head hurt. Next thing I knew, I blacked out. And I woke up here and you know the rest" she said, finishing off her sad and dreadful story.
I started to feel very sorry for her. I can't believe the trouble this girl has gone through all this time. But I saved her that one time, and I believe that I can save her again.
"Emma... I don't know what to say.. I'm sorry for everything that you went through and I hope it all ends here. As long as you're here with me, I'll keep you safe and protect you. I'll make sure you'll never have to go through that again."
I hugged her again and this time, I didn't want to let go.

Emmas POV
Later, Cameron directed me to the bathroom in the hall. I showered and brushed my teeth with my toothbrush. I came out and went to my room to get clothes from my bag. I didn't have much clothes with me but I could manage to wash and wear them again.
I dried myself and put on my undergarments. I slipped on a plain shirt and jeans, not bothering to put on shoes.
I left out the room and went down the stairs and found the kitchen, spotting Cameron at the table eating cereal.
"Hey, are you hungry?" he asked me as he looked up at me.
"Yeah, starving." I said, sitting down next to him.
"You want cereal?" He asked, getting up to go to the cabinet.
"Sure" I said as I watched him scan through the boxes.
"Alright, I'll just give you some cheerios." He smiles and I nod.
I watched as he quickly prepared the cereal for me before handing the bowl to me.
"Thank you." I said smiling and took a bite of the delicious cereal that tasted a lot better than it normally would simply because I was hungry.
"You're welcome." He said sitting next to me and beginning to eat again.
I looked at Cameron and he was smiling at me. I of course smiled back and we finished up eating.
