Chapter 9

Emma's POV

Cameron and I were in the mall. We already went to a couple stores and I chose some cute outfits for myself. I made sure the things that I bought weren't too much money simply because I felt bad about him having to buy me things. I know it was his offer but I can't help it.

After going to about 5 stores, we decided it was time to go home.

Cameron and I held the bags of clothes as we went to His car.

He helped me load the stuff into the back and we went into the car.

"Thanks for everything. I understand that you don't have to do this all, but you did and it means so much to me." I told him and meant it.

He smiled at me as he put on his seatbelt.

"Your welcome. I will do anything to make you happy. You deserve happiness and I hope you never forget that."

I smiled, feeling joyful for once in my life. It's amazing how generous he is and I hope he will always get positivity back in return.

He started the car and we drove off to the house.

Once we arrived, I grabbed some bags and Cameron's took some as well. He unlocked the house door and we went inside.

I put the bags into my room and I decided I would deal with them later.

"Alright, now I'm
Hungry." Cameron said, appearing at my doorway.

I giggled as he flopped onto my bed.

"You want to order pizza?" he mumbled from next to me.

"Sounds good." I smile.

We left out of my room to the living room. He got his phone out and dialed the number to dominos.

"Thank you for calling dominos, how can I help you?"

"I would like to order 1 large pepperoni pizza."

He told them the address to deliver it to as he paced around the living room.

"Okay.. Thank you... Bye." He said before ending the call.

"You like pepperoni right?" he asked me

"Of course!" I exclaimed, laughing.

"Good." he said, received. Mostly because he had already ordered a pepperoni pizza.

I sat down on the couch and grabbed the remote and began to click through channels.

Cameron came over to me and sat down next to me.

In a flash, he picked me up and put me on the other side of him.

I laughed, though I was taken off guard.

"What was that for?"

"I honestly dont know." he said smiling at me. "I guess I just felt you'd be better off on this side."

"You're probably right." I said.

I found a show to watch and put it on that channel.

"I am?" He asked, surprised.

"No, not really." I smile and watched as he pouted next to me.

We were silent for a moment, me focusing on the show and him looking around the room.

Cameron leaned in to my ear and whispered.

"I have a secret." He said in a raspy voice, making my heartbeat quicken and goosebumps rise.

"What?" I whispered back, playing along.
